Mechanical Devices 4 

Because I had unfinished business with mechanisms I made a 4th video in my mechanical devices trilogy (???) this week. It builds on many of things looked at in the first 3 vids and (hopefully) develops understanding of mechanical advantage, velocity ratio and efficiency, and also how to calculate them for various systems. I also look at pulley systems in more detail. It’s suitable for most GCSE DT and Engineering specs, but some parts of this vid may or may not apply to your spec because I think they do vary on this topic, therefore if you are a student then check with your teacher. Oh, and there’s the now ubiquitous song at the end!!
