The shiny sound is a no-brainer. There is *ZERO* excuse to not bring it back. It should be a staple.

The move learning mechanic is in scarlet and violet.

It's funny, cuz I'm in the process of replaying Sword, and I plan on replaying Legends: Arceus right after, as I'm so excited for Legends: Z-A.

you can change nicknames on the fly in SV you open the summary and press x, plus you can relearn moves at any time by going into the summary move page. moves just don't carry over between games. I do agree they need to introduce the shiny sound in the over world again, if a shiny shroomish didn't run into me i would have missed it completely. I did like the dex but i hated the use 60 of x move that has 5pp and 70 acc. make those moves 10 uses max.

Unless Legends Z-A is set around the same time as Legends Arceus, I don't think crafting would make sense with how heavily processed (they look like they are mostly or entirely made of metal and other processed minerals) and advanced modern Pokéballs seem. Then again, Kurt was able to make modern specialty Pokéballs out of Apricorns so I could be wrong.

I can agree crafting should comeback but I feel it could use some tweaks such as a way to easily get a large amount of material around endgame like many other key currencies and items as in PLA it’s a lot easier to just get money in many ways and just buy the pokeballs you want and I think it could be a nice quality of life feature

1. Scarlet and Violet does let you change prev moves freely 2. Outbreaks were in legends Arceus from the start, massive mass outbreaks were added layer

Re: evolutions: personally I’d love to see expanded mechanics that don’t necessarily involve leveling up; for example, getting a slowpoke to physically stick its tail in water and actually getting a shellder to bite its tail. The only reason it was level up was because that kind of thing couldn’t be coded easily in Gen I. We can do it now.

I should replay PLA too just to refresh myself. I will say keep crafting to items and pokeballs but for the love of Arcues do not make it necessary for TMs, bring back TRs and unbreakable TMs. Shiny alert is great especially what I did in Scarlet, 2 hours of squinting at Flittle and trying to find the green underside. Also please change a pokemon's shiny fully cause half changed ain't good enough to go hunting for it.

You could absolutely reuse your pokemons older moves in scarlet and violet. There wasn't a move reminder in that game. It even made egg moves easier to install as well.

Games were so good, only have additions: *Level cap *Skippable cutscenes even in 1st playthrough *more battles, challenging battles *pokemon attacking wild pokemon without going into battle setting like in SV * good physical move for all ground and water types (looks at garchomp and gliscor 😂) *flock battles like ORAS and raids

I need movement during battle mechanics. I also want the pokemon moving during battle similar to palworld battles. It would make the pokemon more alive.

I’m pretty sure outbreaks were in Arceus on launch, they just added more variety in the Daybreak update. Great video, agree with all your points tho. Except raids. I hate raids.

Optional Level cap I played with Dewott in only 2 battles before it was ready to evolve due to just being on the team while exploring

Lol Zelda jump button or lack there of is why i never played it as a kid. My Mario mind couldnt conceive it.

The driving and knitting thing doesn't make any sense. Learning how to knit doesn't stop you from driving. You will still be driving. Riding a bike, then driving would be the better analogy. Also, Pokémon can learn whatever move they had previously learned in Scarlet and Violet.

Skip scenes Only thing that made the game have zero replay value (took an hour to get pass the beginning)
