I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 3 years ago and participated in an experimental drug program which put from Stage 1 to Stage 3. I withdrew from the program and decided to do my own research. From this I changed my diet, began a Forced Exercise program, purchased an infrared light cap (660nm-980nm) and embraced a strict supplement regime. I lost 29lbs (gained 14 back) all in three months. When I returned to my neurologist she was shocked. She told me that I was better than when she had first seen me and that most people couldn’t of done what I had accomplished. I told her “They could but most won’t, they just want a magic pill.” The red light therapy has been very successful for me and even cured a skin disorder from an old chemical burn. When I tell others about it they think I’m crazy so have I quit telling people about it.

@khlim428 I believe it was more than a treatment. He mentioned diet, supplements, exercises, light therapy, and lost weight (fasting?). Philips has an infrared light device with different models , do 3-4 times a week, @15 mins should be OK. Take care.

@@khlim428Sugar has a terrible effect on the brain. If you're not on antidepressants look at Methylene Blue. Also look into fasting and keto. Pottengers Human is a good source.

Bell's Theorem explains the penetration phenomenon. Just watched a video that explains this anomaly completely. My guess is the scalp is polarizing the light wave in a manner creating a quantum effect we are only beginning to understand.

If it means anything I was diagnosed with Dementia, a year ago. My most troubling symptom was my speech. I couldn't complete a sentence without forgetting what I was saying. I purchased a Vielight Gama, and within a couple months my speech was almost a hundred percent normal. However my diagnoses was updated to Parkinson's.

Don't lose hope! Keep it up and look into stem cells, reverse-aging (David Sinclair), energy modalities to help you recover, etc. I'd increase exercise, other ways to increase blood flow, certain supplements, meditation, tea, sunlight, laughing, smiling, singing, music, etc.

What wonderful news!! Fantastic to hear. As the other person commented, do check out all the other seemingly simple things that can help you. A ketogenic or carnivore diet with no sugar will definitely benefit Parkinson’s (and a lot of other physical things you never thought could be helped). Also coconut oil and/or MCT (medium chain triglycerides … isolated from coconut oil). Watch RU-vid videos from Dr. Lustig, Dr. Chris Palmer, Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Shawn Baker, Dr. Chaffee and also Dr. Mary Newport. Many of the doctors also have books that discuss Parkinson’s improvements, too. I think brain issues have an array of causes as well as symptoms. Repairing and stimulating circulation and mitochondria have positive cascading effects that continue to improve your health over months and even years. Another couple of things I’d recommend you investigate are brain anti-inflammatories and Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment (HBOT). My personal experience with my Dad’s dementia is that boswellia extract, Lion’s mane capsules and script Ivrmctn (odd spelling to try to prevent blocking my reply by the thought police) all do an amazing job of reducing swelling and symptoms. Not a cure, but definitely reduce symptoms like agitation, mood swings and poor concentration. Check out Dr. Paul Harch’s RU-vid videos on amazing recoveries of severe brain issues using HBOT. Truly astounding cures, but can be expensive and require months of treatments. You can find low-pressure HBOT chambers for $100/dive that don’t require a doctor Rx, or you can rent or even purchase a low-pressure chamber yourself. HBOT increases circulation and oxygen delivery to cells, and helps TBI and PTSD patients, cerebral palsy, MS, Alzheimer’s, as well as diabetic wounds, etc., etc. I pray that our Lord Jesus Christ touch you, heal you and richly bless you. 🙏🏼

Hi there, Physiotherapist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (Acupuncturist) from Australia. Loved the video, just thought I'd add some quick commentary about the Acupuncture points on the hand. It's not black and white in TCM saying this point treats this organ. Some of the PC points mentioned will "clear heat from the heart and harmonise the spirit" - A Manual of Acupuncture (Peter Deadman) i.e. relates to psycho-emotional disturbances which in TCM can relate to the 'heart organ system' however in western terms can be thought of as the mind (housed in the brain). Interesting HeartMath Institute describe the heart as having is own 'brain' consisting of hundreds of thousands of neurons which communicates afferent and efferently with the brain via the vagus nerve. The same can be said of the other points on the hand, their uses are a bit more complex (I'm always learning more myself). Even the forearm where you mentioned doesn't have acupuncture points will have the meridians passing through. One day we'll bring it all together but we're incredibly complex creatures 😅 Thanks again!

The real question is what is the actual penetration in a live subject? i cannot imagine the samples used, all dead, albeit fresh, would still have similar optical properties as compared to a living being. Also, just an idea, we know NIR increases the cell charge, could the cells be communicating in a capacitive sense? if the cells have a charge, there is a field, if that field can be modulated by the cell, it could be sensed by cells nearby, this could be a potential communication strategy for the cells. (pure speculation, but worth a shot, this particular question will require some out of the box thinking, perhaps there is a domain yet undiscovered)

Two issues not answered: with 660 and 850 light, the literature focuses on cytox. What is chromophore for 1064 light? Can brain issues be treated with PBM applied to arms, back, or neck rather than via an expensive helmet or ball cap used to treat the scalp?

Go outside at noon and expose your body to direct sunlight, the more skin the better, for 15-20 minutes 3-4 days/week and get sunrise light into your eyeballs. Sunlight has 1064 in it along with all the other needed wavelengths that these Big Light Pharma providers offer, who are trying to make a living off you. As a mammalian creature on the earth we need UV to NIR and everything in between. Also eat grass fed organic animal products that have healthy fatty acids that include biophotonic energy which is also included in organic & properly processed nuts, seeds, & grains in their oils. It's really quite simple.

One mechanism that you did not look at was the fascia. - the network of tissue with a high number of nerves cells and the primo vascular blood system that covers and divides muscles and both provides nutrients and signaling molecules but is at the source of proprioception and is linked to the vagus nerve. There is evidence that the points where the fascia penetrates deep into and between muscle tissue is related to the acupuncture points and that manipulating the fascia by pressure affects metabolite levels in the blood. So by using a blood pressure cuff you actually activated the fascia and its effect on blood metabolites.

Fascia is an amazing important fibrous tissue encasing muscles bones holding all in place with nerves blood connection that moves with tensegricity in all directions...more value than is talked about. Important to keep this fascia covering the whole body hydrated and moving in all directions...to aid muscles, bones, nerve centers, blood flow healthy and functional...from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head and everything in between ... love your body ❤

Fascinating stuff. Just to ask: what happens to long nerves, say, in your limbs, when the contiguous skin is irradiated? Is there a change in firing rate by routine EMG measurement? Also, I assume various frequencies of light have been tried? Possibly at a normalized total energy deposited?

Both mechanisms might be possible. A blood carried effect mediated by circulating mitochondria, etc..... and, also, an antenna able to receive and intensify the signal. This antenna could be molecular or even supra-molecular (nanocluster). This question is the stuff of a researcher dreams.... some lucky postdocs or PhD students are going to have the time of their lives.

You can't talk about it until you can explain the mechanism (the how)??? If that were the case, aspirin wouldn't be on the market. There is a time when the HOW is irrelevant to the WHAT. Elevation is disease and suffering should not have to wait on YOUR level of comfort. Weak.

falcon is spot on - this Dr. is articulate enough to NOT stammer however he is in a subconscious conflict of conscience due to choosing his profiteering over affordable treatment for people in need. You do NOT need expensive, high-powered lasers to give you what simple sunshine or low cost leds (for specific apps) can provide. Henderson is all about the money.

It’s a lecture. Play it when you’re working, relaxing or doing something around the house. There’s no way this type of clinical and scientific research can be condensed into 5 minutes. You will never figure out what’s best if you’re struggling with an ailment that this can help, if you’re looking for 5 min videos. At some point you need to do the research.
@teeareijonen6338

I agree it was an appropriate length - there was a lot of material discussed which if it had been reduced to 5 minutes would not have allowed the evidence to be presented in a way that allows us to form our own view. 5 minutes would have allowed someone to just state their own opinion. I prefer to see and understand the rationale.
