If only Metallica and Megadeth could settle their differences on Celebrity Death Match. Better yet, they could have Stone Cold Steve Austin use the Celebrity Death Match time machine to bring back old Metallica to destroy New Metallica and just leave Megadeth alone.

Let’s not forget, despite Metallica sounding better in the end, they would never have gotten that opportunity without Dave.

The four horseman started as Mechanix when Dave was still in Metallica and was a track on "No Life Til Leather". I remember hearing a version with (young) James on vocals. When they kicked Dave they changed the song into Horseman

The thing I liek about the Four Horsemen version is that riff at that speed sound smore like galloping

I just realized that if you formed a supergroup between Metallica and Megadeth, each with their prime lineup, taking a single guy per poisition, you'd just get Megadeth with Cliff Burton on bass.

The fight will forever go on. But when it comes to lyrics and singing, James will take it everytime for me.

Thr 80's were a favorable time for singers without voice started singing. New Order was one of them. Mustaine got in that list for good.

I like seeing the 2 sides. Found an earlier comment saying they prefer the lyrics to The Four Horseman, but (as a fan of both bands), prefer the lyrics of Mechanix. The double entendre lyrics are awesome to me. I appreciate both bands for existing, and I likely wouldn't change anything to just keep it how it is music wise

Mechanix is so much faster and punk, while The Four Horsemen it's better written, but if you put Mechanix in a show house the headbangers gone wild, not like Whiplash or Fight Fire With Fire but they go (haha) But let's be honest, Dave's vocals on Mechanix are stupidly ridiculously horrendous. That's what ME like more The Four Horsemen (besides the other riffs)

Mechanix is honestly too fast. Dave with his poor vocals cant keep up and it doesnt Sound good. That's usually the case with Megadeth, is that they try to push the speed and complexity and the song becomes unlistenable and hard to follow. Yeah, Kirk doesnt have complicated solo's like Dave, but oh boi does Kirk can put some soul into it and its honestly Becomes art everyone can appreciate. Sometimes I have days that I want to listen to Megadeth but I cant enjoy all of their songs and all of their albums. Usually its like 3 great songs for album

There is no comparison Metallica will always be better than Megadeth in every single way and the fact that Dave has still not let it go, is all the proof you need. But if that isn’t enough, just listen to the music, it speaks for itself
