Believe it or not, that’s also how I found about MoH. I still have issue 100 somewhere. They way the OPM staff described it made me embark on a 3 year hunt to find the game. I’m glad you enjoyed the video! :D

A remaster would probably be the way to go. My fear though is that EA will turn it into a generic FPS that dumbs down the experience or adds game mechanics that aren't needed for a dedicated remake. It honestly doesn't really end need a remake because it's still perfectly playable 20 years later. It runs smoothly and even has dual analog controls. Even the music is as good as any musical score and is CD-quality. The graphics are the only thing that have substantially aged.

Yeah the A.I. in Medal of Honor was actually very advanced for 1999 and apart from the occasional kicking grenade at a wall or running around in circles, they act reasonably intelligently compared to enemies from other PS1 games. In the sequel most of the A.I. glitches are fixed as well.

It's ALWAYS a good time to hook up the PS1. :D

Medal of Honor, moh Underground, allied assault and Pacific assault were my favorite games to play as a kid in the 90s/00s. Also, the Original Call of Duty for Windows XP was good as well, I had the Game of the Year Edition and I loved the Stalingrad missions, albeit aware of the unfortunate history of the average Russian soldier, nevertheless I was compelled to yell "For The Motherland!" along with them whilst charging German lines.

Yeah Goldeneye is pretty much a chore to play now. The controls are okay most of the time but the slowdown completely tanks them. MoH is a pretty smooth experience comparatively and still a lot of fun.

Haha, thanks, but considering I've been doing this since 2008 it might be a while before I hit 500K. :P I want to post more, but I'm currently trying to find a career and job stability and it's hard to balance it all. I am working on some stuff and definitely haven't abandoned the MoH retrospective series, so hopefully sometime in the fall I can make the MoH Underground video.
