About Medha Rail Coach Factory:
Medha Servo Drives, which designs and manufactures high-tech electronics for locomotives, is setting up a railway coach factory at Kondakal near Hyderabad in Telangana, involving an investment of Rs 1,000 crore.
The facility, touted the country’s largest private-sector rail coach factory, provides employment opportunity to 2,200 persons in the region, said the Telangana government in a statement.
As the largest propulsion equipment supplier to the Indian Railways, Medha Servo currently caters with its high-tech electronics to the locomotives, trainsets, coaches, railway stations and yards.
