The 3.0 CS is finally in the booth to get media blasted! Slowly but surely, the bimmer is getting all its paint stripped away along with that nasty bondo and rust!
any reason y'all didn't want to go with a glass bead media? seems like it would have been a better fit for the heavy surface stuff and finish with walnut for a better final finish and oil to protect the bare metal.
That may be too technical of a question for me but I think the concern was the aggressive nature of glass on warping panels. That being said, I'll have to check with JP!
+andrey scumpieru hopefully soon! I'm directing a large campaign for an automaker so I'm a bit tied up right now, but there's some exciting plans in the works right now once we get the ball rolling again!
+Andrew Liebner I wish! Funny enough I've thought about it but I think for now doing a weber carb 3.5 litre would be awesome for now. I can always do electric later but carbs are new to me. Plus I think the torch would twist the chassis and the development costs would be too high for me.
