I woke up at an early hour this morning and just moving my left leg slightly triggered a severe charley horse so severe it took my breath away and the muscles in the back of my calf were tensed and unable to release for about 10 minutes. It was excruciating. I have had ablation in peripheral veins but am told it's too dangerous to touch the deep veins which are also having reflux.

It should be rechecked again, even after u did an ablation, perforator vein can be develop and reccurence can occur, maybe it is not the deep vein but the perforator that produce the cramping sensation

I'm 20 years old and has sever venous insufficiency. 3 months later, my compression stocking will be upgraded. I think both my arms also suffers the same fate as my legs. Could this possibly be what wrong with my knees?
