What I experienced on the Medical Medium 3:6:9 cleanse. Watch this video to see if the 3-6-9 cleanse is for you and some things to look out for to make it more comfortable. This is my honest review of the Simplified 3-6-9 cleanse. I share with you what happened, how I felt, what I ate when I did this cleanse from the Medical Medium book Cleanse to Heal. I'll also share if I'd do the 369 cleanse again. I used Medical Medium alongside EFT to recover from chronic fatigue, fibromaylgia, hypothyroid and chronic constipation.

I did the 3 6 9 cleanse in 2020, I think. Way too much liquid for my system and it was a bit harsh for my body. Yes, it was the simple version. I guess some of us have been ill long enough our bodies just can't go that fast. I've tried going raw for 24 days to heal my body and I can't make it through. All of that made me feel like I was a failure. Now I feel like I should start very slow. One change at a time and just take care of me slowly, less stress and more love. Thank you, Rachel, for the advice and the wisdom of your healing journey.

Hi Christine, Thanks for sharing your experiences. I'm sorry you felt like a failure - it should not be like that. But I see so many people feeling bad about not doing the things we're told should work. I felt like a failure for a long time too. I'm glad you're bringing some love and taking things at the pace you need to - with love (I loved how you described this) That is really the only way. Yes, I can relate to so much of what you said! I though that simplified would be easy but it's been so hard and I had a lot of bloating up until day 7 and nightmares

The first one was tough for sure. I did an Advanced after this one and wow - that was tough. Can't recommend doing that in winter - too cold! I hope it got better for you - thanks for sharing ❤

@@rachelAO Yes, it’s my last day today and that same though crossed my mind! It’s soo cold in the UK and I’ve been freezing through this cleanse! Definately won’t be doing another one up until spring. Looking forward to my hot porridge tomorrow!

emotional imbalances are often caused from withdrawal of processed foods and troublemaker foods in general. As the liver begins to detoxify old cells are craving sugar, and other processed foods. Ultimately it means you’re doing a good job cleansing but can indeed be a pain going through the emotional roller coaster

Hello, well done on doing the Cleanse. Nine days is a long time to do a cleanse, but you did and that in it self is an achievement. I do the 369 advance once a month now and I just do the spinach soup with mango instead of tomato and the liver rescue soup. I find I can't do the salads I find them boring to be honest. I did look at the simplified and compared it to the advance and I found the advance easier to do. I'm still healing and I think the key is to be patient, really patient.

Hi Jannene, It's cool you do the Advanced once a month. That's where I want to get to with the Simplified. You're absolutely right. I wanted to start slowly because I know from healing from chronic fatigue that I'm a fast detoxer but not so good at carrying the bad stuff out. Definitely going to keep doing them, the skin issues are definitely going to be shown the door. Thank you for the advice and all the best for the rest of your healing.

Hi Rachel, thanks for the vid! I just finished day 4 of the 3-6-9 Cleanse. The hardest part is being around others who are eating & enjoying all of the foods I love. I just saw an interview with the Medical Medium who was talking about various chronic conditions. He said that skin problems are generally related to heavy metal toxicity, so if you haven't done so already, you may want to try a heavy metal detox. He said that the 3-6-9 won't necessarily clear out the metals, but cleaning out the other toxins, viruses, bad bacteria and reducing inflammation with the 3-6-9 Cleanse will help dislodge them easier when you add the heavy metal detox protocols. Thanks Shelley. I hear you. My wonderful husband and his banana bread 😆! Yes I've been doing the HMD for about 3 years, but I understand that skin comes second to more serious issues like I used to have (CFS, hypothyroid and fibro). Hi there, what does MM say about “age spots” aka “liver spots”? I read a short section online of him saying stuff about metals but to read the rest in his book. A few days ago I started noticing a 1-2 inch spot form on the back of my hand. I’m only 24 so I know it’s not from age.. I’m not sure if the 369 will help. I’ve tried the original but not the advanced. Thanks so much for reading.

Yes it's not cheap to do now. I did that one too a few months after this video It's a lot of celery juice and apples. Hope it goes well for you.

If you struggle to eat greens, highly recommend sprouting instead. So much goodness packed in to such tiny powerful plants 🌱

I've been searching RU-vid for anyone doing the 3:6:9 cleanse. I tried it, but felt too weak, and stopped half way. I plan to try again. I too have lichen schlerosis. Mine subsided on its own, which my MD said it might. But it comes and goes. My doctor said it can come in phases. I tried Dr. Brooke Goldner's protocol on hypernourishment. I don't think that changed anything. I think I'm expecting improvement to happen right away, like a miracle. I know that's not practical. My body didn't get this way overnight. I'm going to try again and be patient. For those wanting to see someone else do it, in real time, a lady named Janet -- channel called Plant Powered Pedaler also did the 3:6:9 cleanse. She logged on every day, showed the food prep out of the book, etc. Both of these ladies have motivated me to give it another fair shake. I trust Medical Medium, and have to gather up my courage to try again. It's only 9 days, right? Thanks to all.

I’m on day 4 of the 3-6-9 Liver Cleanse (9 day cleanse). So far I feel great - excellent energy! I’ve lost 6 pounds. Hoping to resolve some skin issues (hands and other places).

I’m curious, did this resolve/relieve your skin issues? I’m going to try the cleanse too, I have been getting bad eczema & acne flare ups on my face & eczema on my hands too. Everything the GP has prescribed has made it worse or just not helped, bar antibiotics which temporarily got rid of the acne but it’s come back.

@@Jenballable I resolved severe (severe) acne on my face back in my 20s with a different protocol before Medical Medium existed. I can share more on that - not to say M.M. wouldn't help - I just never had that issue again. Now as for MM info - it has been life changing! The one spot of concern I had is practically gone - I'm so happy that I did not need topical steroids or had to suffer much pain due to addressing it quickly. Now I have what might be either eczema or psoriasis on my hands that appears only in the winter time. I started MM liver cleansing once a month in March so I won't know if my eczema is cured until winter time, which would be around December (so half a year from now). I know of other testimonials where people have healed themselves of this condition and I am confident I will get there too. I cannot wait to confirm it. I've had so many positive side effects while on this method. Right now I am on day 9 on my 4th liver cleanse. Feeling amazing and looking amazing (darkness under my eyes is gone, spider veins disappearing, lost 16 pounds, tender/tired spot on the side of my leg for decades is gone, nails strong)... I mean you will walk away healing things you didn't even think about healing...things you probably thought were a way of life. Like I said it's life changing! Try it :)

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed hearing from someone who has chronic illnesses to hear their perspective. I started celery juicing to heal hypothyroidism a few years ago and was successful in getting my blood levels within normal range, but lately I have been feeling really fatigued again and decided to try the original 369 cleanse. I'm on day 8 and have been feeling really fatigued and on most days have had vertigo and dizziness. Also haven't slept well, waking up frequently to use the bathroom. It's comforting to know I'm not alone in some of these problems, and also nice to hear someone talk about the emotions that come up while cleansing. Well done on completing the cleanse and good luck on your journey to health.

Hi Caroline, I had healed the majority of my issues by the time I came to this cleanse - CFS, Fibromyalgia and Hypothyroid. But I hadn't done any of the MM cleanses before this one. I've done 3 now and the lichen sclerosis is gone thankfully. I'm sorry you're experiencing fatigue, vertigo and dizziness this time around. You've got your thyroid markers in the normal range before, I'm sure you will get them there again. All the best on the cleanse and thank you for sharing your experiences! 🥰

Thanks for sharing your story! I’ve completed several 3-6-9 cleanses and I get incredibly bloated the entire time! I also have to blend my greens, I am unable to digest them otherwise. I haven’t noticed emotions coming up during the cleanses, but I do have a terrible time trying to sleep! The lack of sleep is the worst part, probably mostly due to all the trips to the bathroom! Haha! I should do another round, I do think they help me overall.

I've done the 369 four times (on Day 8 now)... each time is different, but physically easier each time (so hopefully that shows I'm getting healthier, detoxing more subtly). It's both easy (food tastes fine, minimal fuss to prepare, etc.) and challenging (I love salads but I am resistant to the liver rescue salad, found the liver rescue soup easier to get in). Day 9 I usually gripe throughout, feeling done and wanting a potato by 4pm (like really frustrated). Not sure how I'll do this time. That said, MM info has improved my health dramatically (chronic Epstein-Barr symptoms nearly gone), so grateful! Will try lowfat as a lifestyle more going forward to see how it lets my liver detox more.

I am watching this several months later but I swear, everything you described sounds like menopause ! I know that is not what you are going through but at least you will know what to expect once that happens. I can’t wait until it’s over for me !

Hi Sheila, Thanks for sharing! I had the heat at night when I was recovering from CFS and AW says it's an overburdened liver. He also says that an overburdened liver is responsible for menopausal symptoms too which is very interesting. I've found with each subsequent cleanse (I've done 3 now) the night heat I've experienced during the cleansing has got less and less. I hope you get through it okay. I understand it can be pretty rough!

Thank you for your video. I've done the original 3:6:9 cleanse 4 times. My liver spots disappeared after the 4th one. But I think it was too strong for me so I'm going to do the simplified cleanse next time.

You should never eat hybridized wheat in any form. You should really look into before your digestion get worse due to the hard to break proteins and massive insulin spike. If it's not organic then it will be sprayed with Glysophate 3 days before harvest as a ripening agent. Then it will be improperly stored. which will contaminate it further with mold and mycotoxins.

Thank you for sharing your experiences 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I too struggle with my emotions too. But I think Anthony Williams did mention in his Cleanse to heal book is that when going through these cleanses, it is possible for us to detox a bit out of wack and even uncomfortably. Least for the very first time. At least that’s what I took it for. He also says that the longer we do this the better the benefits will turn out. I do believe we all detox differently and at different levels. Some more than others (depending on your symptoms) so it made total sense for you to have undergone all that heavy emotional detox cleanse. As I probably will too. Because I’ll be starting mine soon. Been reading his book Cleanse to Heal. So I’m very excited to do the cleanse. I really appreciate your insight on what to look forward to for the most part. Whew it’s gonna be a major one for me given my health background. But nonetheless grateful for it. I’ve personally learned so much through him and I am hoping for others to open up to it too. Hi Alumna, Thank you! Yes, you're right cleansing can be tough. I've done a few cleanses over the years, but I think the 369 is really quite a deep one and that's definitely what I needed as I've healed so many things without needing to do much cleansing before, so it was good for me just to give things a move along. We do all detox differently for sure and I find each cleanse I do feels different. I think of it like layers of sludge :)! I hope your 3-6-9 experience is good and you get the results you're looking for. Wishing you the best of health!

Thanks for sharing your journey with us! The anger issues are interesting and I expect that may come up for me too. I've just finished Day 2 and they prep work for 2 of us is really overwhelming. The juicing and smoothies and salads and soups. So much to do and I am not even working. I can't imagine how people who work full time are managing it all. But I'm looking forward to feeling better. Great tip about being gentle with ourselves too.

It's interesting for me as I work with clients how much rage there is in chronic illness (rage at self, rage at others, rage at the illness and our bodies), rage is such a deep emotion and one we often push down because we learn it's not acceptable. As part of my recovery I dealt with a lot, but there's clearly some more to work through. They say the things we need to face come up when we're ready to face them and I believe that is true. It is a lot of work in the 3-6-9 and I can imagine that's a lot of work for 2 of you! I hope the cleanse goes well for you and you start to feel the benefits. All the best

You know most of the thing you mention it’s part of cleansing specially when you say you get really angry.. you know when we get angry it’s stuck inside of our body , so when we do the cleansing were trying to get rid of it I hurt one of the doctor was talking about that, he said that’s part of getting out all that taxing and all that anger that’s been stuck inside of us ,so all the things that you’re going through it’s very normal just keep going🙏🏻🌻

Hi Mary, thanks for the encouragement. Yes you're absolutely spot on - anything unprocessed needs to move and it can come out during cleansing. I've done a lot of emotional work as part of my healing and I coach others on how to move that themselves so I wanted to really highlight this in this video, because often people can become anxious about the emotional ups and downs during cleansing and it's important to understand what is going on and not to panic.

I watched a RU-vid with him saying to get the Omega MM900HDS but I have also seen other information that states to get a different model of Omega juicer. Thank you for doing this video and being so honest. I just finished the original 3-6-9 about 4 days ago. I’m brand new to MM and this was my first experience with everything! I’m battling nerve pain that has been all over the body but mainly in the legs and feet. No diagnosis, but after listening to MM I wondered if the cleanse would help. It was definitely harder then I thought with several shopping trips in the week to maintain all the fruits and veggies and the food prep and cleanup. I’m impressed you were able to do much of any work at all between it all. I definitely saw a difference on day 10 but as I transitioned on day 12 I had a horrible night with incredible pain. I only added lentils but kept to his basic protocol for eating. The next night was better and hoping that continues. I look forward to seeing how you transition. I’ll stick to celery juice and metal detox smoothie for sure! How long did it take for you to heal from the other conditions you mentioned?

Hi Amy, thanks so much for sharing your experiences. It is a bit of work for sure! I had food stuffed in cool bags in my house that wouldn't fit in my kitchen :)! MM is a great protocol for nerve pain. I had really bad neural pain in my back and shoulders and it's all gone thanks to MM and the emotional work I specialise in. It's key to just take your time, realise that healing is a marathon and not a sprint and know that the body will do the work as long as we show it the love it deserves. The flares you speak of do happen - for my pain to go it took quite a bit of time - it would go and then come back, but over time it went. The fact you felt a difference let's you know you're on the right track! It took me 2 years to heal from the CFS and 2.5 from the fibro, the thyroid issues took care of themselves along the way. Maybe weird dreams are normal in a cleanse. I have it too. Sometimes scary nightmares, when I do a cleanse from Medical Medium. But I’ve been really sick, so maybe that’s normal. But also I feel sooo great, lot more energy thru the day. But I feel a lot of detox too. Like you had described. Hope you’re doing well💕 Thank you for sharing🙋🏼‍♀️🌸✨

Cleanses can be a bit of a rollercoaster ride for sure. I believe dreams are a window to the unconscious and can be a way for us to process and resolve life experiences. They can feel a bit intense though, that's for sure! Thanks for sharing and all the best in your healing journey

Hi Rachel, I only just now discovered your channel and this video, thank you for your honest review and thoughts! Im very familiar with those episodes of anger you described. I always linked them to histamine though. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I guess histamine reactions are in the end nothing but detoxification reactions. At least as long as they come from healing foods like fruits and veggies. When my face flushes I become very restless and … angry! So the anger must be linked to the state of our liver. Blessings!

Hi CC, Welcome to the channel - I hope you find it useful in your healing journey! I can't really comment on histamine reactions unfortunately I'm not a nutritionist or doctor. From a mind body perspective anger is an emotion that can be a causative factor in many health conditions. I had a lot of anger during my health recovery which I had to work through and release, it made a big difference to the speed of my recovery because anger puts us in a state of fight or flight undermining our body's natural healing capabilities. Make sure to take Chlorella when detoxing as it will assist in removing pesticides.

Hi Rachel, thanks for doing this video and being honest about how you were doing. I found it very helpful. I think I'll do the advanced 3:6:9 when I can afford it. Right now I'm atempting to eat only potatoes, but those organic potatoes I find in the shops here don't taste nice (I live on an island in Finland).

Thanks Tamara. I'm glad you found it helpful. I think the Advanced is a much simpler cleanse to do. I'm doing one at the moment and I think the Simplified set me up for doing this one. I'm sorry the potatoes don't taste nice - good potatoes are everything! I hope it goes well for you! ❤️

My main issue with simplified 369 is that the recipes are quite difficult and /or time consuming. I did my own spin and just had the aspargus, brussels sprouts and zucchini, salads with a little bit of potato, as I prepare for the Advanced 369 this week. So one can definitely simplify the Simplified. I get really sad when not eating any potatoes, so trying to be aware of that. Also had a major anger outburst, with confrontation (after a theft though;). Also, I wish MM would mention going easy while on the period, as I myself could not endured the advanced 369 simoultanesly.

The simplified menu is just a guide he says you can make anything you like as long as it's in the guidelines, so sounds like you did it spot on! That's definitely one of the reasons I tried it first. I don't like following cleanse menus, I'm a bit of a lazy cook :D!!! I've done an Advanced and found that easy to do, but it was in Winter and I didn't find the food satisfying - was glad it was over! The Advanced definitely needs rest while you do it, it will be mobilising a lot of stuff. I hope it goes well for you! xxx

I am prepared that it can get tough, but I might allow some millet or potato if it gets too bad;) I am trying to look at it as though it is a replacement for a long juice or water fast, in that case, its easier than that (I presume, after my fasting attempts;) Love from Norway😘

Thank you for sharing. I have been three years following mm, have yet to do the 369 as I have not wanted to stir up shingles. Have done 28 days raw, and potato mono for a week....

Hello Rachel, I’ve only just came across this book/cleanse by the MM. Thank you so much for making this video! 🙏🏼I’ve got chronic pain and severe fatigue but also a ton of food intolerances. E.g. I can only eat bananas and berries when it comes to fruit. Is this cleanse still something I can pursue?

Hi Amanda, I started where you did and worked on the food intolerances before doing any cleanses because I found cleanses too restrictive - I'm now fatigue and pain-free. That said, the Simplified 369 is pretty flexible, so if you'd like to try it I would take a look and see what foods you can have from the required list and if you feel like there will be enough for you to eat (bananas are great for calories) then give it a try. Because while it is a cleanse if you can't get enough to eat on it it will be really hard on your adrenals really need the support when you have fatigue. Wishing you all the best in your recovery

I am on the 6th day of the cleanse and my dizziness which I am trying to cure is getting worse, especially in the evening. Is it maybe because of the radical change from fully cooked food to only fruits and vegetables?

Hi Andreea, I don't know the specifics of your situation and I am focused in my work on the emotional side of healing. But I know that cleansing can sometimes flare symptoms. We eat more raw food and that can speed up detox. If you feel like it's too intense have a look at what he suggests in the book - he has a section on detox symptoms and what to do. But, sometimes when we get flares we can feel anxious and that can often make the flare worse. I have adrenal fatigue but the cleanses scare me of getting my adrenals worse. Iam fat free raw during the day and potatoes and veggies at night. I know the cleanses are designed to protect the adrenals . Do u do a lot of the cleanses?

Hi Rachel. thank you so much for sharing this with us. I appreciate your calm nature. I've been doing medical medium "work" for 2.5 years and have not done a 369 due to overwhelme which I have had a s*** load of. Do you know if Anthony talks about this?.. not being able to do the 369 because of this? I understand they rage too, as I have had a lot of emotional stuff. I have been sick for three decades. How do you find it's best to work through all the anger? I have Medicaid and I am in the US it sounds like you're either in Australia or UK? There is also a lot of trauma, hurt, jelosy, and betrayal that comes up daily.

Hi Diane, Thank you. I only started doing 369's after healing the big health issues I had - CFS, fibro, hypothyroid and IBS. I've been doing 369's to sort out some skin issues predominantly. I've worked with quite a few people who feel overwhelm with MM. So, if you feel overwhelm about the 369 - don't do it for the time being until you're ready. We can often feel like it's something we HAVE to do, but these are just tools and when the time is right we can pick them up and use them. What's more important is that you do everything at the pace that feels comfortable for you, because that's going to be the least stressful. Stress is really our biggest obstacle in healing. Moving through the emotional stuff is a big part of our healing journey, and I focus in my work on helping people develop the tools to do it for themselves. Have you try the low fod map diet? I think it’s a great diet but for only a short period of time. I think you’re having histamine problems or mast cell activation you’re probably sensitive to the foods you eat.

Thanks for the suggestion. My digestion is usually fantastic, it was just this cleanse. I've cured all my digestive issues on MM, I used to have to have low dose immunotherapy to eat anything so I know what you mean about histamine.

Hey! I use a juicer, but used to use a blender. When I used a blender I used a nutmilk bag to strain out the pulp. Hope that helps

Hi Jennifer, Sorry you're dealing with that. Lichen is just the worst. I don't really deal with it much anymore. I get flares when stress is an issue for me. To do the bulk of the healing I didn't do anything different than my usual MM protocol. it kind of healed when the rest of me did. I had a lot of different symptoms from chronic fatigue, fibro, constipation etc. and the lichen has retreated along with the rest of the symptoms. MM says skin conditions tend to be the last to retreat - and that was definitely my experience. The body prioritises healing for mission critical issues, and I guess the skin isn't it's highest priority. All the best in your healing xxx
