I just got hired as an MR and I’m so nervous to start, most of our patients are Spanish speakers. I’m fluent but a lot of those medical terms I’m nervous about. 😱

Congratulations!! ☺️ I’m always nervous to speak Spanish. I’m fluent also but sometimes I get stuck 🙈 You’ll be fine tho just write down the words your unsure that way you can always go back and double check that’s what I do

I go in for an interview as well as a little bit of a trial run tomorrow! I’m so nervous 😬 coming from retail to possibly medical reception. Any tips that could help during my trial run?

Haayyy!! So during the job I would take notes, ask a lot of questions (even if you think you asked too much) pay attention to details and ask if anybody needs help when you’re done with you work. Show them that your a hard worker!! It’s not that hard honestly just at lot to take in at first but just have fun be talkative 😊 I hope that helps! Good luck 🤞🏼

I think most places want you to have some knowledge so you would need to do some schooling first. Maybe try a walk in clinic cause they’re always hiring. Good luck ☺️

I just got an offer for a telehealth receptionist position. I’m kind of nervous bc I feel like I don’t know anything about the medical field but I definitely want to see if it’s for me. I’m also an introvert. :/ Any tips or advice on how to be successful in this position for someone like me?

Hiiii, First of all, congratulations I’m super happy for you!! Honestly, it’s all on the job learning it’s all so repetitive so I’m sure you will pick it up with no issues! Ask all the questions it’s better to ask than to assume, take plenty of notes and be confident even if you have to fake it. You’ll be great! God luck 😊

Love the vid. Quick question. What’s the proper mens attire for a Medical Screener? I plan on just wearing scrubs but idk lol. Never worked at a clinic before.

How did you get used to registering patients and how to handle the documents?

It’s all repetitive so once you enter one patient then you can enter all of the rest the same way. Same thing with the documents it’s all the same just different names. It depends what you’re duties are though. I handle all the insurance paperwork and get all the benefits for certain procedures. I also do all the outgoing referrals. The front desk girl does all the new patients, checks them in and enters them into the computer.

I will try my best! Only cause of HIPPA I can’t catch too much on video. But I’ll try to remember key words and phrases and put that all into a video 😊

I'm extremely satisfied that I came across your videos, we do literally the exact same job except that you translate Spanish while I translate Turkish Arabic Kurdish to English , I do speak 5 languages I guess you too so we've got a lot in common. 😊 have a blessed day.
