Very great video and explanation...moreover it is very practical. Thank you very much ; hope to see more videos on these difficult topics such as treatment of acute renal failure and septic shock as well.

I hope it's ok if I add this. Regular insulin is never mixed in D5 sol always in NSS. But you are right, being cognizant of the solution the patients' other meds are mixed is important.. e.g antibiotics, steroids, etc could be mixed in a dextrose-based sol. Thanks again!

just a quick que- what is the main difference between HHS and DKA treatment?

Never hold the insulin infusion for a low potassium especially in Type 1 Diabetes and hoping that the potassium will improve ! You should be very aggressive ! with potassium replacement with 40mmol/L of fluids .. Otherwise, the presentation is good !
