I am diabetic with heart disease and kidney disease. When my blood glucose levels are off, everything else gets unbalanced, my blood pressure goes up for instance. Also my thyroid is low, so I have to take a daily pill, and if my thyroid gets out of whack, so does everything else in my body. Including depression, I will get depression. and lethargic. Vit D get very low too. One thing I learned also was to never use a Nurse as a PCP. I always choose an internal medicine dr., and will only see her, unless im sick with a cold, and then ill see the nurse or physicians assistance. It is good to hear you are taking this so seriously, and you are doing your research. I think it is always good to know what pills they are telling us to take, and their side effects. I got you in my prayers, I know you are going to get better, and get this under control. Love ya, sending hugs and Prayers ♥
Hey Tandy! Yes exactly when one thing is out of balance everything will be affected. I am going to take all of the specialists opinions into consideration then decide what my next move will be. Thanks so much for your prayers ❤️🩹
I have AFib, diabetes, lupus, congestive heart failure, blood clotting disorder, fibromyalgia and degenerative bone disease. So I am on 22 different meds a day and 6 of them I take 2x's a day. I feel that the drug company's need to send me a bonus. You have to be your own advocate to your health care. Always check with the side affects before taking meds. Go with what the heart doctor says. But loving the blogs❤❤ blessings to you and Lisa, oh also the beautiful raptor mama
Hey Buffalo Deb! Wow you should definitely get an award from the Rx companies! How do you keep track of all those pills? I can hardly keep track of these! Hope you’re feeling well & sending love ❤️
Hey Beautiful! Glad to hear things are improving! I feel ya especially at night my face and body itch like something crawling.. My white blood , red blood & platelets are always extremely high. You look flushed like me when it’s time for my treatment. Keep up the fight!!
So scary that is even named as a possible side effect, i hope you continue to feel better and that your blood pressure gets better, you got this Jenn, i hope you both have a great time on the weekend, many adventures are on their way ❤🙏
Your hair is so pretty. I take 5 different prescriptions a day plus vitamins and supplements and I am not even sick! I hate it but am afraid not to take them. I have hypothyroidism, pcos, anxiety and depression. I hope you find a dr you like. I am still looking.
Definitely get a second opinion about that medication and you can check your blood sugar with a meter and if you're not scared of needles they have lancets to get a drop of blood
Hey Scott! Yes they checked it 4x daily in the hospital and it was normal until they started pumping me full of IV steroids. Infection can cause high blood sugar as well so I’m not going to worry about it until that is completely gone. Thanks so much ❤️
