The downtown is nice. Glad to see that it has a bus service too. A similar size town where I'm from would never have a bus service. The downtown also looks well laid out and walkable. The suburban cancerous tumour zone isn't my bag, but at least there's something for everyone. Living in Vancouver and having a cold start to the summer with no sun, I'm a bit jealous of Medicine Hat right now. I've never lived in a dry climate before. It sounds nice. Plus I was glad to hear The Hat is warmer than anywhere else in Alberta.
Medicine Hat by far is the better place to live. However, Sylvan Lake is closer to Red Deer, which will have plenty more to offer than Medicine Hat in terms of employment and other services.
Lol the camera makes things look much farther than they are in real life. So if a light turns yellow, it may seem like I'm far enough to stop in time but in reality I'm only a few metres from the intersection. If I had ran any reds, I would've edited it out haha. But I appreciate the comment - thanks for watching!
