One observation. In order for the ventilator to correctly display Vt Exp, a rebreathe bag on the end of the patient circuit should not be used. Vt Insp settings are unlikely to match Vt Exp measurements, as the rebreathe bag isn't compliant enough to fully return the fresh gas thats being delivered by the vent. Whilst this practise is convenient to have the vent cycling prior to use, for correct function, a lung simulator should be used. An enormous amount of theatre time is wasted by machines being put out of service due to Vt Insp values not matching Vt Exp during pre-use checks, when using rebreathe bags. Otherwise, your video is very informative. Thank You.
@@ejrupp9555 That is just the ignorance that I had to put up with whilst technically supporting these products for nearly 30 years...... No matter how many rubber bands you put on a bag, it will never expel totally what was delivered.....
