Just tennis is hard cause cant grip around handle very well. And no I didn't even notice the pain when the pin came out, I didn't feel anything. Sir I had one more doubt Is little pain or pinch at the side of fracture common . It has been 3 days now sinse surgery I am very tensed. The fracture site pains after I dressed it yesterday.please help.
Hi doctor, my kwire passes my 5th, 4th, and 3rd metacarpal. Today is day 12 post operation. My question is does it is high risk for my kwire to bend or break as i always move my fingers. the 2nd question is how to know let say if my kwire bend or break? Thank you
Hello I have a question! I’ve called the hospital and they have never got back to me. I go K wires for a right distal ulna fracture. It’s been 2 weeks since I got them. I got a new cast on but I had to remove that as it was too tight and the pain was unbearable. My question is my pin site is red, raised, hot and extremely sore. Do I call the hospital again or just wait for my next appointment?
Hey it’s the same for me right now the cast has covered my hand, it’s been two weeks and my finger feels like it is swelling in my cast. Plz respond I needa know
Hi doctor sorry for my bad English.I have a disslocation of my middle finger and a tow fracture in my ring finger and doctor operate me with k-wires in both of my fingers.its my 9th day after operation i dont feel pain in my fingers but its feels like my fingers are heavy. My first question is does i feel lots of pain when doctors remove K-wires from my fingers. And second question is i able to do gym again after fully recover.please reply doctor.
If you have no wounds, other than the tiny one through which the k-wires were placed (assuming the skin was NOT cut to place the wires), then you may wash/bath straight away. Hope this helps🙏🏽
Excellent question. Usually not, for adults, as the wires are smooth and slide our without causing anything more than mild/moderate discomfort (rather than pain) for a few seconds.
@@MEDICINEinaNutshell my wire is in the ulnar tip in the left hand wrist the inner end of the wire has gone out of the bone and I believe it is bent in an akward way
@@dipeshpatangia9067 So a wire in the wrist is different. If the eire is bent, and you worried about pain when the wire is removed, it is not unreasonable for you to request anaesthesia (local, regional or general), depending on what is involved in removing the wire. I would discuss your concerns with the surgeon.
