Medics are.... interesting | Foxhole Shenanigans 

People who roleplay a medic follow 3 skilltrees: 1: Angelic saint. This medic is GOD. All of your squad members simp for them. They will carefully patch you up, whisper sweet words of encouragement while doing so, and give you a homebaked cookie before you get back into the fight. The Saint will genuinely get upset if you get hurt and then proceed to give you the most tender and loving care that even through the screen you feel a bit warmer. And because of that, squad members tend to worship and defend their new medic BF/GF with a fanaticism that rivals, if not surpasses, occultism. They will not need to fire a bullet: if you intentionally make the Saint sad through your misdeeds, beware: the best case scenario is that your team won't help you out. Worse case they fill you with lead right then and there. These medics are still dangerous, though, as there's always a chance that it's all an act, and there's a manipulative psychopath behind the mask. 2: Jaded veteran. This guy's been through it all. Often the most generally experienced of the three, The Jaded is brutally quick, efficient, and curt. You *will* respect this guy. He will be just as quick to bandage you as to pop a cap in the enemy who just downed you. This man is a film grade war hero, pulling stunts left right and center: and likely has the voice to back it up. More often than not, this guy will take command the second the the squad lead drops, if the squad lead ain't his buddy of 8 years already who goes out for drinks with him. Messing with the Jaded will result in a cap in your skull: as he "don't got time fo' yo' bullshit, son." Many times the Jaded is ex-military IRL, and is just as jaded out of character as he is in character. 3: The Harmacist. Oh dear god. The Harmacist is volatile: and will treat you with no kindness. You, along with his bandages and bloodbags, are resources. The Harmacist won't waste these resources, and in fact is still very good at patching you up... If you don't mind being stuck with a new limb, and enough chemicals in your system to give you a superpower and instant stage 3 cancer. The Harmacist is also the best at combat of the three, cackling maniacal laughter and often harvesting the blood and organs of the enemy to use for their squad. After all, they are just resources. And besides, that soldier's liver is likely going to save your own life, whether you like it or not. That's why, against your better judgement, you don't shoot them in the back of the head. They're a resource too. And that brings me to their final trait: they are just as charismatic as the other two, usually even more so. Spend enough time with a Harmacist and you'll find that your own values have shifted, and not always for the better. The Harmacist will often have a few incredibly close henchmen who do a lot of the dirty work for them and help with the triage, and if you spend enough time around them, you'll suddenly realize you're a henchman too. And before you mention the babbling scaredy medic, that's what they start as.

As a warden I can say I have found nothing like “professional” colonial doctors 😢 but we DO have people driving around in buses playing obnoxious music so ig there’s that ☺️
