Sad the main campaign doesn't have greek fire. Even more annoyingly, the campaign that does doesn't have Rome on the map making the ERE pointless because you can't restore the Roman Empire
Well they were called Basileia Rhomaion that means in greek Roman Empire, they were in reality the roman empire since the donation of constantine was false and the main justification for charlemagne to legitimse its tittle as roman emperor
@@zamirroa ah English isn't your first language? That's cool, I'll try again. The Greek Fire unit is only present in the Crusades campaign, and the campaign map only covers the eastern Mediterranean. Even mainland Greece isn't present, except for Thrace. As a result, I can't play this campaign and reconquer the lands of the Western Roman Empire because they are not on the map.

My only beef with the Byzantine campaign is when Venice starts a war with you by blockading Corinth or Rhodes... It’s like the AI doesn’t actually want to fight with you but they just ruin Aegean trade for nothing. I understand them eventually attacking you through the Balkans in an organised attack but a little blockade. Also I wish you could ally with Egypt but there’s no point.

Ahhh~ I remember my best Byzantine game. I took the east, I was the King of the East. The timurids may have taken Kiev but their armies were shattered by the valiant stand that day. And then when the West was squabbling in mud, we sailed to America and showed those savage Aztecs God. -- Or I would have if my game didn't crash my PC halfway through conquering America.
