9 years late, but the quickest way is either start with iberian countries (Portugal, Spain), or grab one of the italian factions, take a ship, and invade the Moors/Egyptians

there's no pint they are in full plate armor. One cavalry charge on the lightly armored on the mamluks and they are done quite much.

​@@omari2306 armour is expensive. they were only reserved for a few elite knights from noble and rich families . most could not afford such heavy armours. most crusaders in the first few crusades had almost similar level of protection as muslims they were facing. If most of them were in full plate it would have been to op for muslims to counter. we all know how history went. full plate started becoming a thing around 1500 if i am not mistaking. crusades were long gone and a thing of the past by then. if they were as unstoppable as you are suggesting then history would have turned out differently my dude
