Based on the comment by Ed Sullivan, it appears that this show was performed in 1954. So happy that there is still a good copy and that it was put on RU-vid for all to enjoy.
My all time favorite singer from his early recordings from the 40's on to his death in early 2000. songs such Lucky old sun,mule train,That's my desire,Jezebel,High Noon,Cool Water,Rowhide, versions of movies and tv westerns, Wild goose etc. On the sunny side of the street,I Belive, He also wrote songs which he made popular,appeared in movies.Frankie sang tunes of many genres.At one time mostly in 78rpm records and 45rpm discs were in my collections..
