Difference between ESC 6.0 and 6.5 Straight from the CEO during their reddit AMA: Meepo CEO Since esc V6.5, We are using metal pot/enclosure for the ESC electronics. Pretty much same look as hobbywng ESC. And its proven that this metal enclosure are better for heat sink, so lower defect rate. Also, we updated the soft ware on the ESC to have 1A less current/power, so to make the V3 batteries last longer/ lower maintenance needed, and very little power sacrificed/traded.
@@BriansBadassReviews Thanks a lot, I've received my Mini 2 and are waiting for the battery to arrive in a separate shipment. I couldn't find anything about push to turn on in the Mini 2 product page, but didn't check the page of the V3 with similar ESC. I'll chime back in once I have the battery in hand!
@@BriansBadassReviews So battery came in today, and indeed the Mini 2 Standard has push to start as well. This thing is so awesome I don't even know where to start!
i ride the meepo classic 2 and i’m not sure if you’ve done a review but it’s an amazing board and it’s advertised to go 25 but i’ve hit 48.8 and beaten all of my friends on their meepo boards
He makes me feel old. I'm 64 years old and still skateboarding. Just ski8 a pool on my Tony Alva skateboard a few months ago. Anyways I bought this fuhkien skateboard haven't received it yet but I'm sure I'm going to like it. Konaboyz Honolulu Hawaii
Just subbed. Been thinking about getting the mini. I have a meep v3 from last year and it's so jerky. Its thrown me off but I hear the esc nowadays are a lot smoother.
Thanks so much for subbing! Welcome aboard! The mini will also catch you off guard at times from stop to start. Thing has lots of torque on high and pro. Its a beast! Thanks again!
I saw in 1 of the FB groups someone added a kayak cloth style handle under their deck, really thinking about adding it to my mini. This thing is a beast. I'm 250lbs and in speed-3 today hit 27mph. I've yet to get into speed-4 yet, it's deff a turbo mode 😅
Be careful if you shift into Pro Mode at full throttle like i do. The thing still pulls at high speed. I did a manual @25mph and had to go change my underwear.
@@darthphaser2991 no joke....I was a bit wasted last night and didn't realize I was in mode 4 vs 3 and was manually outta control up a hill (I'm late thirties dad athletic but stocky build at 215 lbs). Seems to be not a big difference in top end but mode 4 lays that power down quick!!!! Turns out everyone in my town pretty much knows me after owing this thing a few weeks. Adult males either want one or are deathly afraid (as they should be.... These things are death traps!!!).
@@johnnygunz2300 That's why I bought it. Mine has 100mm pu sleeves. I only weigh 158 lbs. Top Speed 33mph on flat. My Mini 2 ER has 1500 miles on it now after only 8 months. Best money I ever spent. I'm 48 years old btw. Having a blast.
@@darthphaser2991 wow that is allot of miles!!! I have had mine for a month and put 110 miles on it. Already bought the extra pu sleeves cause I know I'm not going to get bored of this board. Stay safe out there!!!
I got a v3 and when it comes in I'm going to swap the deck and put an AT wheel kit on it and potentially adding extra batterys can't wait idk if you can do that with the mini
If you are just beginning I would recommend buying a good skateboard 1st. Not one from Walmart. Get your balance down.... meepos are fast and can be dangerous if ur not careful. Wear your gear. Thanks for watching!
I changed the bushings out on the V3 so it reduced the vibration. I don't see a ton of difference between the two however the stance on the mini is higher making it more maneuverable. Sorry for the late response. Thanks so much for watching!
Brian's Badass Reviews Yeah no worries bro I’ve been subbed for a while I just never post.. I bought the v3 but I weigh around 160 so i just cruise on it.. when i made it back to my car i was literally at 0%. I rock the 100a on the back for more stability and i only tighten it two threads maybe 3 depends on how you like it. and i leave the 90a in the front so it curves nasty like a boosted board... hope that helps
FOREEEEEEEEEEVER!!!!! Like literally multiple weeks... but saving the money was worth the wait. The board itself is worth the wait. Thanks for watching!
Damn I ordered mine July 11th and Got Tracking july13th but ever since then it just says pending But thanks For the reply Awesome vid! You are Lucky To have Both boards!
It's somewhat water resistant in the fact that the components are sealed better. I wouldn't recommend a ride in the rain though lol. Thanks so much for watching!
They sent me a defective v3 board which is ($750 CAD) and now they refuse to help out 100% and some how its my fault. Spreading for awareness, save your money and go for any other company. Please save you money.
