BRO! Your fkn B-roll shots of this board are legit professional commercial broadcast level quality (minus a hint of handheld jerkiness) - the lighting. focus, color depth & grading & shot variation & angles is as good as ANY i have ever seen on ANY media related to electric skateboards.| This is legit - one of the most beautifully edited & produced electric skateboard videos I have ever seen - I am making an effort to begin reviewing boards & you have set a bar for me to aspire to with this one. Meepo definitely aint no fools ensuring their board is well & fairly represented by your abilities with a camera & editing program, I'm serious man. Great video covering the vader. The one thing I'd recommend replacing is the bushings for both sets of trucks. I'd replace them with riptide dkp bushing kit, it allows for sleeker turning and better stability.

The ninja is an even better value option with the new 105 wheels and bamboo and same specs otherwise. Also I wish there was a manual or something about the esc. For the double tap.

But the deck still looks like a thick oven pan. Hope the bushings are much better than what the original Hurricane shipped with.

I own a belt drive DKP Hurricane on 190mm pneumatic wheels running 66T gear system with the upgraded ESC and remote as well as a set of SL-R1/PL1000 Shredlights. It is my absolute favorite thing in the world!!! I’m 45 and I will ride electric skateboards until the day I die. I’ve ridden other much more expensive boards and they don’t even come close! I first Meepo board was an NLS Pro which I sanded down to the bamboo and custom painted. Sadly, someone stole it out of my boom operator’s car when we were on a film out of state but it was all the excuse I needed to buy the Hurricane. So… win? After going from 105mm polys to 190mm pneumatics I’ll never go back. The pneumatics are much more stable making them way safer and I find myself riding the board off road more and scanning the terrain less when I’m riding on pavement. This board is an absolute smoke show and its performance far outpaces the vast majority of riders ability level. I’ve been longboarding for over 20 years and the thing scares me sometimes. You really have to respect its power or it WILL dust off your health insurance. I’d highly recommend this board to anyone. It is indisputably the best board you’ll get for your money. As mentioned in the video, I don’t even know how they’re able to sell a board of this build quality and components integrated and still make a profit.

trust me from a bunch of experience, the 190mm are far too big. your not getting the torque you need for tires that large, it puts you way high off the ground making you center of gravity way off around turns and making it hurt if you fly off, and finally it breaks belts constantly because of the leverage against the belt and it snaps constantly despite 150-165 being the sweet spot. 155mm have been the best for this board, just stay away from large tree roots etc because it’s a bit less forgiving off road but wayyyy more capable as far as uphill, jumps etc. 155mm wheels will allow you to power slide controllably around turns and it’s an entirely more radical experience try and u will see. also don’t get metal rims they don’t need to be metal, just bogs everything down with no benefit other than maybe aesthetics

It would need to have a VESC to meet my needs, plus a 12mm axle over the 8mm standard on the Meepo Vader which would bend easily. Not sure about the quality of the deck but I used to compare the Meepo Hurricane Vader to the Metro Board X22.
