I'm glad I bought the voyager x as my first E board. Not reccomended but I hit a GIANT gap and scraped the motor thing, it's still going strong. The other day I fell but managed to break before the fall, the strong breaks saved me from falling at full speed, and the remote survived after palming it straight into the street . The torque is nice since I live in a busy city and go faster than traffic half the time, it goes over most speeds bumps but there's some that'll scratch the bottom. The price on this thing is insanely cheap, if you're reading this, buy the voyager ASAP

I have this board and yeah, Speed mode 4 is really intense. For me, I'll probably just stick with 3 for better range, and then go up to 4 for hills. Light me up

I got a voyager and this longboard is amazing super tork and I can only get to 25mph without speed wobbles I’m 155 though but so much power I am scared to switch it to #4 it’s like a turbo mode. I buy things that would be best for your money and looking at it you can change the batteries or motors pretty easy…. It’s just a rc car that you can ride. I am going to upgrade the belts to chains when they break and water seal it but definitely won’t return it. Great for you money

LIGHT ME UP! From the board to the trucks from afford to the lux... urious that's a plus! You're growing fast and for good reason. Great video quality and professionally comparable editing to complement it too. If constructive criticism is cool on your books I must say that this board seems to be explosively fast in acceleration compared to its competitors, but it isn't "literally" a rocket. It definitely is figuratively a rocket though and I cannot wait for my rocket to arrive 😃 PS Apparently there is a way to adjust the acceleration speed to ease setting 4 in the settings which is called wheel speed. Again I use the word "apparently" as I haven't received my board yet, but from my research, this setting is used to adjust acceleration (not overall top speed) which seems to be a useful way to perfect an already top quality board 😉

Thanks so much my man! From my experience changing the wheel speed might only effect what the read put on the remote is actually showing not the curve of the acceleration, the ESC has preprogrammed modes and doesn’t allow you to customize the curve of the settings. I’ll ask meepo and follow up with you as well but either way enjoy the board and subscribe if you enjoy the content my man! Really really appreciate the kind words!

I love how fast this community is growing too and hope we can all meet up eventually 😎; Realistically, not all at once, but I plan on traveling eventually once I tame my beast and save some coin to experience different cultures, meet new people, and have fun along the way! Ok, I have had my (used your code) Voyager for an hour. FIRST, sorry for all the scared rookie first time on 90mm street wheels questions :) All those fears went away in the first 100 feet. Belt/Bamboo boards are better at power delivery and feeling confident over gaps/debris. Should have bought this one first! Thanks again for the video and all the positive feedback! Also, mode 4 lurks in the background like a rouge aligator just beneath the water, SCARY :).

Hello Drew...Congrats on the 2K+ Subscribers. Hey, I have the Meepo Voyager now, but I also have the Eovan GTS Carbon Super. I had bought extra 175MM AT tires with my Eovan. I notice that Tynee just came out with a board (the Tynee Ultra X) that can accept AT tires, and it looks very similar to the Voyager. I wonder...Can the Voyager accept AT tires, similar to the Tynee Ultra X? Of course, I have the 60T and 66T pullies that I have with the AT tires as well. Just wondering...Thanks a bunch.

So no, voyager wouldn't be able to unless you did some bigger modifications to it, the trucks would probably need to be raised up and wider over all, i don't think its completely not doable but i'm not sure what it would require to do so,

I’ve been watching your reviews and I love them how much range do you think it can get and also what do you think is better the backfire zealot X or the voyager. I’m mainly looking for range but what do you think is better.

Hey, thank you so much for the support! As far as the voyager over the backfire X that’s a hard one! The new voyager does have the molicel set up inside of it, and it does have a ridiculous amount of range, the power and everything is great, the backfire has a different configuration of battery which in theory runs better and has a lot more features than the voyager, remote, lights, customizable. That’s a hard question to answer, but you really can’t go wrong with either one, I did a review on the backfire s2 with the X featured in it as well. Backfire did a fantastic job with those boards as far as power and smoothness. The voyager has almost too much power in it compared. I know that doesn’t answer your question directly but if range is your only concern choose the one with more WH in the battery pack. If features and smoothness and ride quality than I would say the X is a better choice.

So both are seriously good options, and there are a lot of factors involved! The voyager is a light weight almost boosted style board. Flexy deck, powerful motors, long range battery! It’s the most “skateboard feeling” out of the two. The hurricane now has a bamboo deck that’s semi flexy but has a really nice powerful motor set up and a longer range battery than the voyager. The weight is heavier and the deck is wider it’s a different machine all together. The 2-1 options are nice as well! Long story short voyager is a portable rocket, hurricane is a range power beast. If you’re new to the sport you won’t be disappointed with either choice! If you’re thinking about picking them up please consider using my code and link in the Video profile! you can take them off, but I strongly don’t recommend that for this board is not meant for extreme carving like that, you could swap out for double king pin trucks I suppose

I got the trucks off, no problem at all. Just cut a x on top of the screws and they push right up. Fit perfect and makes a world of difference. The surf adapter and rail adapter work extremely well! Omg im flying on this thing!

Hi Drew! My commute is about 20 miles a day, would you still recommend it for me? I do not want to spend >$1000 on a board. I'm kind of new at this. I live in chicago btw, I do have the CTA option but I would like to pick up a hobby. I have seen videos evaluating this board after >1000 miles or so and they say "it still holds up pretty nice". I would love to know your opinion. I have seen your other videos reviewing other boards and this is kind of the one that I feel would suit me best. Keep up the good work.

Really appreciate you coming through and checking out the video! 20 miles both ways or 20 miles total? 20 miles total the voyager would be able to take care of you no problem, just bring the charger to work if you want to top off before you go but I was getting 15-20 miles and dropping 1-2 bars on 90mm wheels on my group rides. 12s3p is a massive battery for this light weight board. The flexy deck and full urethane wheels will eat up the road, the belt drive allows you to swap out gearing as well to make it more top end if you need it ( I wouldn’t suggest that it’s plenty fast) but it’s there if you want to do so. The voyager is a really nice long distance board and a lot of fun to grow with, you won’t feel the need to upgrade right away if you get hooked in this hobby, just like the rest of us did 😂. Overall if you’re doing 20 miles one way bring the charger with you, if you’re doing 20 miles total you’d be fine with charging when you got home for a few hours every day! I hope this answers your question!

First off thank you so much for subscribing! Means the world to me! The board weighs about 23lbs/10.8kg it’s fairly light for the power it puts out. Personally I put the SL-300 shredlights on the front and the SL-r1 I have a discount code for both the board and the lights on this video to save you some money! It doesn’t use the same charger as the hurricane. I’m working on the bamboo hurricane but I will have the gear drive and the new tires coming in to review on my hurricane now

So far I've only owned and ridden 2 electric skateboards. 1st board was the Backfire Zealot S. My 2nd board is the Eovan GTS Carbon Super. After getting used to the power of the GTS carbon super, I love the feel of the boosted style board the Zealot S is.....but lacking in torque to me now.....as well as killing the battery quickly in sport mode. Sounds like the Voyager X is the way to go for me. Better range, torque and top speed but with that boosted feel.

All things aside, how's the customer service if you needed repair? I heard that their customer services sucks and horrible. I'm thinking about a buying an electric skateboard and Meepo Voyager is one of my options.

It’s all relative to the people who have bad experiences and people who have good ones. Just understand that they are based out of China and it takes them time pending where you live to answer you. So if you have an issue they will ask you to diagnose it and than ship you parts to repair it yourself.

The motors aren’t louder than any other belt drive system. But you’ll get wind noise before anything else!

ago @Drew Elia The FF Belt Doesn’t have amazing range. It’s rated 25 miles but you need perfect conditions for that so you will most likely get around 18 or so. However I think the ff belt is one of the best commuter boards for short-medium length trips. The deck is AMAZING. It’s flexible and the plastic grip tape is very unique. It also has a super easy swappable battery. The torque and braking is very impressive and the double trucks are nice. The only thing I recommend is switching the cloud wheel clones to 105mm momentum hallows. Once doing that it EASILY made it comfortable e-board I have ridden

@@DrewEliajust got my board today and 20 minutes in, one of the motors overheated and started smoking. The motor doesn’t work anymore. Hope meepo can send me a new board or motor. They also sent me the wrong remote (the v4 remote thing) Man fuck meepo :(

Flex Pro or Voyager X ?

Ugh, that’s hard, I love the look and feel of the flex pro, both are equally as powerful. The range is a little better on the voyager with the bigger battery pack but the flex has a fast charger that lets you get 50%back in like 30 min haha. I think it comes down to looks and what you’re looking to do, voyager will give you a little more range but if your flooring it the entire time than they both will drop in range. The flex deck is really nice and responsive, the voyager deck is super flexy and bounces for carves. Hard choice l, but you really can’t go wrong with either one!
