Dr. McHugh joined the Orthopedic Institute of North Texas (OINT) in September of 2023, bringing his expertise in a wide array of hip and knee surgeries including total joint replacement, minimally invasive hip and knee surgery, robotic hip and knee surgery, the treatment of hip dysplasia in adolescents and adults, complex revision surgeries, as well as hip preservation.
Dr. McHugh has numerous publications and has authored book chapters in the field of hip and knee replacement and has lectured nationwide. His dedication to the field of adult reconstruction led him to completing OrthoCarolina Hip and Knee Center adult reconstruction fellowship - the most highly regarded program in the nation. He continues to remain active in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons as well as the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
