The fact that his dad is a construction mogul makes this way shaddier than anyone realizes. People always talk about how quickly Dubai went from a street in a desert to one of the most extravagant cities in the world, and a large part of it came down to inviting foreign workers with the promise of an opportunity to provide money to their families back home, only to arrive and have their passports taken away and discover most of their wage would go towards paying for their room and board, signed onto a contract they didn't understand. It's effectively modern day slavery, and nobody is willing to talk about it. But here we are, celebrating his son turning his ill gotten gains into sneaker resale.
