I am honored to introduce an incredibly inspirational priest, leading a downtown parish in one of the toughest areas of Las Vegas, NV, Fr. Courtney Krier. The Parish is St. Joseph Catholic Church, a church which celebrates the Latin Mass.

Roise you did a great and moving interview . I remember growing up Catholic when it changed from Latin to English in the 1960's. This church is truly doing Gods work and you are an angel to be helping as well. We are all brothers and sisters

Thanks Rosie! A great and caring man. He reminds me of the priests I knew as a child. I went to Catholic schools for my entire childhood and the priests and nuns were always very kind.

Love the backstory - and what a sweet and smart and caring and traditional Pastor. One small detail: I can't get over how Father Krier kept a straight face during your funny little intro.... how does he do that? Its an wonderful trait to be that judgement free - to make people comfortable. I remember back in the 90s Dr Robert Schuler kept this straight face in this one episode during a joke.

Priests, whatever else they are, are always such intelligent people. But not defined by intelligence, I must say. The father, the priest if you will, is at the cross section of intelligence and peace, I guess. I would say.

I dearly miss the Latin mass. I remember following along with a Missal as a grade school student at 9:30 childrens' mass every Sunday with my class. Wonderful memories. I hoped we would have his blessing and we did. Thank you.

What a nice priest… Great interview! One of my grandmothers, who was born in the USA in 1903, and was raised Orthodox Jewish, told me that she learned Latin, in her public schools. I am not sure what grade she was in, when she started studying it. I always thought that was pretty cool. Maybe it was a required subject in schools back then? 😃

Beautiful interview. Being an adult convert, I've never been to Mass in Latin, though always wanted to. I suppose there's one somewhere near me.
