@@cmerefatty Well many albino prey species are often abandoned when young, but not because of racism, the herd does this for survival because such a bright colour among earthly colours is a like dinner bell to predators. Here the female leopard probably just knows that the male looks different from normal and just moves on, because in reality it's not at all a big deal for her.
For some reasons It's quite soothing and beautiful feeling to know somewhere there are such beautiful magnificent couple Cleopatra and saya living and sharing same earth as me.
Perhaps this is so to speak an "unnatural" relationship, just like there are polygamous humans, here we have an even rarer example of monogamous leopards. It's not normal for male leopards to have just one female, it's most likely that she is the only female leopard within his territory, so he got to spend more time with her and developed a true bond, unlike the classic mate and run game that most polygamous mammals play. Still if another female comes into his territory (unlikely to happen since Cleopatra has already established her territory there) he might star leaning towards her as well. Either way in no manner I wish to taint this exotic couple's relationship, just stating some facts that's all. I still love this couple, never in my life have I ever heard of a "monogamous" pair of leopards, so beautiful to see. This story would have baffled the scientific community for sure!!!
Photographers say he actualy has at least 1 more mate but she is very elusive. It is very hard to tell since they live in dense jungle and remain hidden for the most of the time. Hard to determine who the father of cubs is as well.
India 🇮🇳 is blessed by nature that have 15 wild cat species _Asiatic lion (only in India), Bengal tiger with white tiger (75% of world), Indian leopard (14,000), clouded , snow & black leopard; caracal, ....._ *Elephant, bear with 4 species, deer with 12 species, monkey with 15 species, Red panda (50% of world), rhinos (80% of Asia), Hynes,Gaur, wild Buffalo,.........*
This is probably one of the best video from Brut India. Not only were the surreal moments amazingly captured...but the way this man explains everything to us as a Wildlife Photographer, just adds up so much to the whole experience of the jungle life and the magic of big cats. Seriously, I was speechless while watching the whole video. I didn't knew what was more stunning - Was it, the beauty of Cleopatra and Saaya, or the magical moments captured and beautifully explained that will be remembered forever? Awesome video!!! Thanks a ton, Brut India! ❤❤❤⚘
I'M JUST AMAZED BY THEIR PERSONALITY LOOK AT THEIR EYES THEY OOZE SO MUCH CONFIDENCE ....... MOST HUMANS JUST LOOK DULL AND LOST AND LIVING LIFE WITHOUT GOAL I WISH WE HAD THAT KIND OF PERSONALITY
What is going on here? Leopards are solitary animals. They don't live together. Yet these leopards against their innate qualities are living together since 4 years. Beautiful! Edit: there seems to be a confusion regarding the black panther in the comments. This black panther is a leopard. If it was in South/central Americas it would have been a jaguar.
I'm afraid our infos on them are very much outdated due to their elusive nature. Well, they can and they do. In Africa and Far East of Russia male leopards are known to visit their families and share food with mates and cubs. One male in South Africa was even seen carrying his cub the same way as mother does! This happened in Londolozi, Sabi Sand Game Reserve in July 2020. And it seems like they do not want their mystery to be unveiled.
@@prabhatsinhjadav2705 sir you are partially correct. *Black Panther* is a term applied to black-coated *leopards* and black-coated *jaguar* . If the black panther we are talking about is a varient of leopard then it will be same species, but if it a varient of *jaguar* then it is of *different species* . I hope you study about this further.
Why isn't videography as popular as still-photography in Indian wildlife circles? In my opinion, videography is a far more powerful tool in delivering the message. There is tremendous awareness about African Wildlife because of the astonishing films made (NOT because of still-photography). If we need to save Indian Wildlife, convey the message of diversity of Indian Wildlife to the world, videography is the key.
Black Panther is not a different race or Species. It is just a Leopard with high melanin in the skin. Just like white Albino ones which got less melanin.
Shaaz Jung said in one of his interviews that the black gene is recessive here in India no matter the father, so that the cubs will most likely be the ordinary ones, but in the next generation there MAY be black cubs as well...but I might be mistaken.
The two started living together??? This behaviour is extremely odd. Leopards are solitary animals that only really interact together during mating season.
The title should be : How I stalked a happy couple for 4 years in the name of wildlife photography to get a paparazzi picture.. Edit: it totally 💯 not sarcasm at all seriously ... I ship 🎙📉
Black panther is not a separate species, they are just genetic variation of leopards or jaguars. If you look closely, you can see the spots on them similar to their species. Don't know whether lions and tigers have had this kind of black genetic mutation in them
They come from a family of big cats that different species like tigers,lions,leopards/snow leopards, and Jaguars so when you hear the name black panther it’s usually a black Jaguar or leopard
And i believed what Ursula's mom said in George of the Jungle - stripes with stripes and spots with spots. I didn't know they dated the inter-species way also until now. Thankyou broot.
It's not inter species lol First of all search what is black panther Black panther are the Leopards or Jaguars of some skin pigmentation problems If a black panther from south America it's a Jaguar and if black panther of asia or Africa it's a Leopard
@@shubhamksingh-ti4em can you tell me why bro? It's cause according to my knowledge, the Panthera genus was created in order to accommodate the "Roaring Big Cats" of the world, which are the tiger, lion, jaguar and the leopard. Black panthers are merely a different-coloured variety of the leopard.
@@gautamdighe2409 cougars-also called mountain lions, pumas, and panthers-are not classified as big cats because they can't roar; they can only purr. Lions and tigers can roar louder than a gas lawn mower, which is about 114 decibels.
