Colleagues from the European Parliament, the European Commission and the European Court of Justice talk about why they enjoy working as conference interpreters in the European Institutions.
This is so true. There's so much to learn in this industry and knowing your niche is going to be crucial in starting and growing a business as an interpreter. I love the video. Interpreting in the USA is different especially when it comes to conference interpreting, but not impossible! #bossupandrise everyone!
At Versailles and the Congress of Vienna (1815) obviously there was no simultaneous interpretation. Can somebody refer me to a source which discusses the language issues they had at both meetings?
