The best thing about the Twilight Saga are the songs and this song is the most perfect of all. A window, an opened tomb. The sun crawls... Across your bedroom
I always looked forward to a new Twilight film just because it meant another astounding soundtrack with great bands and great songs. The OST's and the scores were the highlight of the franchise in my opinion.
everyone here trying to make people understand that they don't like the movie but love the soundtrack. yes we got it no one thinks you have bad taste in movies.
I lived a life, a life where I was happy enjoying Twilight Saga. It was the best time period of my life. I have never been happier. I wish I could go back. I'll die in peace remembering all those precious moments. Life was good :)
I love this song, one of my favorite songs ever. and twilight was a beautiful movie too but people are so embarrassed to admit it cause it got so popular at one point, but it was a visually beautiful forest indie movie.
They're ashamed to admit it because the story behind them was terrible and the only reason a lot of people liked it was because vampires were popular and the actors were hot. The soundtracks were amazing though. Utterly amazing.
There are so many artists who can demonstrate their inspiration and creativity in a blurry way, by using twisted and oscured vibes or by the search of the unknown, allegedly looking up to the following planets. When you use darkness you often spellbind the listener because you help him leave the groung and hit the space. He will feel like falling off and surrounded by the stars whilst admiring the space. This is mainly what space-rock and the similar genres are meant to convey, when you spread these sentiments the pressure and the devotion is tremendously high and perhaps unforeseeable.
The year is 2009. This song plays on your TV as you get ready for school. You just finished applying a very thick unblended eyeliner. There is no mention of the horrors of 2020. You have no responsibilties whatsoever. Life is good.
Awesome song. Love it! Gibbard sounds and delivers the lyrics like Geddy Lee of Rush. Every time I hear this song, I think it could be a Rush song. That's a compliment!
Just putting this out there. I'm a black guy (who likes rock music) who became a DCFC fan through two songs: " The Sound Of Settling" & " Soul Meets Body". After those and their other released songs, I was hooked. I now have all seven of their studio albums (except the EP's) in my iTunes library. I'm not too big on the Twilight series, but this is one my favorites. "Cath..." & "You Are A Tourist" round out my DCFC Top Five.
Estos señores la sacaron del estadio con esta cancionzota. Hacía por lo menos 10 años que no escuchaba una melodía tan bien estructurada musical y líricamente. ¡Golazo D.C.f C.!
This song is epic..There are two equinoxes each year, in March and September, according to the astronomical calendar - both are when the day and night are approximately 12 hours each everywhere on Earth. Beautiful song~
Had this song stuck in my head through portions of the 118K ultramaraton I did yesterday, truly helps dull the pain to know 'everything ends'. It also helps that Ben Gibbard is also an ultramarathoner.
I actually had no idea DCFC had music in Twilight. I didn't watch past the first or second one, I think. Already read the books and I couldn't put myself through that story twice in two different mediums. I ended up finding them through Colin Morgan
I remember this song today " Let me lay beside you, Darling Let me be your man And let our bodies intertwine But always understand That everything, everything ends" Thx For this song ❤
Look, people. You can hate it because everyone else hates it. But you can also like it just because of one character, or because it's interesting. It's personal opinion and we reserve the rate to praise it or bash it as much as we want. I will now stop talking and listen to the music. I recommend you do to.
I am male, i love the films, except for a few actors who just don't pull of that role properly, and i love this song, and it captures the atmosphere of the films and books very well i think.
Jerome Johnson I believe it's a cultural thing. People are used to like the classic scary vampire who will suck your blood until you die painfully and won't fall in love with a teenager while their skin glow with the sun's light
@camenzies Well, yes in a way. When "you can play these songs with chords" was released, Death Cab for Cutie was actually a solo project for Ben. So it was DCFC's first work, but it wasn't a group. So they didn't tour. They also released "something about airplanes" before , but they didn't tour extensively until 2001, putting it after the release of "We Have the Facts...".
I love this song and I don´t get why people get mad if you came here because of twilight, if it helped people discover their awesomeness, why complain?
Had it not have been for Twilight i wouldn't have appreciated this song as much. Sometimes artists contribute to movies with their music, not as many people would know the music if not for the movies. I liked the movie, and i really liked the song, awesome tune. ;3
ok fans let's all be happy shall we? twilight fans for having this amazing song and this awesome band in the twilight soundtrack and dcfc fans for knowing that more people are getting to know dcfc now and they will gain more fans! :)
