Caution- the intro is very loud compared to the rest of the video! Somehow the volumes got off during editing - so sorry!

That is such a pretty snake. So shiny. I like that you got it as a rehome considering it's wild caught. I can't get behind *buying* wild caught animals, but I definitely see that you are doing right by this animal by taking it in.

Jeremy's Wild Studio thank you! I don’t like intentionally buying wc animals and supporting them in pet stores and expos. I understand that captive populations have to start somewhere, but those wc animals should be left to the breeders then and those capable of handling what comes with them, not an everyday person looking for a new reptile at an expo. However, like you said, if they need to be rescued or adopted I have no problem with that because quite frankly they are already out of shop/vendor hands and need a good loving home.

Hello ZA, IF you want to bring out the iridescent colors on camera, light her with a more direct, harsher and smaller light source as opposed to the big soft light that you used to make this video. The light source you are using works wonders with making human skin glow but won't be able to dig into the scales in the right way to refract the light back to the eye in individual wavelengths.. you know how you can only see a rainbow when the sun is shining? same principle should be applied here. thank you for the video!

Scott Hamilton thanks for the tips! I don’t have a good lighting set up for filming quite yet, so I’ve just been using natural light from the window. I’m just about done upgrading enclosures, so next will be buying some good lighting, so I’ll have to keep this in mind when that time comes!

Cierra Nicole thanks for letting me know! The video was edited on my phone and then put together on my laptop... I didn’t even think to check the volume levels. I’ll have to double check that for the next one!
