Meet orthopaedic oncologist and spine surgeon Justin Bird, M.D. 

Dr. Justin E. Bird is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He is a leader in the field of orthopaedic surgery and specializes in the surgical treatment of complex spine and pelvic tumors.
Dr. Bird has a strong clinical practice using 3D and computer-assisted technology for complex tumor resections and he rigorously evaluates outcomes as the Director of the Learning Cancer Outcomes Research Program for the Orthopaedic Oncology department. He recently served as an innovation Fellow at MD Anderson and currently advises several health care technology startups within the Texas Medical Center.
