I had a feeling once Amanda came on, she was going to be one for a relationship with you as she is smart, funny and completely stunning. I don't know what your future relationship plans are but this one could be a keeper! As she gets more comfortable with the channel, she'll get even better 😊
Love Amanda, nice charming smart lady, a great mate for sailing I think....oh, BTW very " informative" talk from 34:24 to 37:18...although a little " crappy" I must say...😂😂😂...good job guys !!❤❤
We have a 3.5 KW solar generator as well. One of the reasons we got it was that we can also have a feed coming from the engines alternator. Works good, and hardly drops below 80% when traveling. Otherwise we let it run down to 10-20%, like your supposed to with lithium setups. Keeps the lights and fridge on without hardly any drainage. We'll probably find out how it will do with a mini-split that we are looking to install next summer. We call them butt blasters, hope you get where we got that one from. This was a good Podcast there Bobby.
Good to see you Amanda, we have been on/off fans since Bobby's beginning. I am a retired AF pilot and my lovely wife is a retired Baptist pastor (the kind of Baptist that talks to you in the liquor store) her words not mine. We travel quite a bit, I am a paramedic who volunteers with Doctors Without Borders and when possible she joins me. Looking forward to following both of you.
I loved the podcast you two look good together, and I expect you asked Amanda If she minded cigar smoke, to much of a gentleman not to, keep the videos coming, is Dakota coming to the upcoming Flotilla, hope so. Take care. 😍😍😍
Yeah yeah, Amanda is hot. No kidding. What I'm excited about is that Bobby has bought a somewhat affordable express cruiser and is sailing around. This is where many of us who want to start cruising can learn how to sail around for not a whole lot of money (depending on how much the boat costs.) I can see island hopping during the winter and then up the ICW during spring and summer. These are going to be the episodes that can show us how to make cruising a reality.
I can relate to the older motors having brushes, my first car was a 73 Impala Custom. The starter on it would stick, I'd crawl underneath and tap it a few times with a wrench to free it up, then she'd fire right up. Eventually it stopped working for me, couldn't find the right brushes anywhere, so I tried a shot in the dark, stopped at an appliance store and found a set for a washing machine that fit almost perfect, they were just a bit too long, filed them down and never had another issue with the starter... and about the toilet conversation, it may not be a pleasant thing to talk about, but it does seem to me to be pretty important stuff to know. Maybe in your future briefings to new crew you should let them know, whoever is responsible for putting something other than what their body produces down the toilet, they will be fixing any problem under your supervision! Extra incentive to abide by the rules!!
Maybe someday you can talk about your issue that ended your flying career and what your health is like now and future prognosis is when it comes to strokes? I like an occasional cigar as well, is that OK for you after your health issues? Just curious about your recovery!
I just watched the podcast. So I went and subscribed to Amanda’s RU-vid and saw her first flying lesson video. Grand Prairie is where I keep my airplane. Did Amanda only do one lesson?
When I discovered your channel about 4-5 years ago, I looked back at your first episode and watched all moving forward, I don't remember Amanda? I may look back again. What episodes was she on?
I come here to learn about boat life and appreciate all the details of boat life. Does the Floatillas have captains included or self sailed by the boaters?
Glad you mentioned New Orleans, I went on a business trip 6-7 years back Sunday-Friday since I flew from UK and I thought New Orleans was filthy, did not enjoy it at all.
Shame, in a way one has to feel sorry for Amanda having to use "Sailing Doodles" as a safety net of sorts. She knows the deal and also, why she's there. Enough said!
She wasn't forced but I get your point. She's trying to build a profile if that means she does the horizontal follk dance with the dude every so often then that's life an at least it's her choice. There's a lot of girls in the world that haven't got a choice.
The continuous cameras sounds good, although you might want to get it linked up to a Linux server instead of only filling member cards. But you would need to make an effort to remember to take your cameras with you when you get off the boat to have an adventure on land.
I have watched most every video you have put out…..my curious question for you is this…….. when you decided to RU-vid with your first boat…..did you have a backup plan if it all didn’t work out?
Bobby, you do not deserve that beautiful woman That is on board with you. You are cheaper then Annie one I know Cheaper With A boat I run to the Bahamas. All the time you best go back. To a Canoe.
I don't mind you talking about the poop and anything else. It gives me a better understanding of the SHIT you have to deal with when owning a boat... lol
Heads up before you bump up idle on the eng check the idle air jets they may be off they are on the carbs usually front no idea what engs you have or carbs but cheek that first before doing anything eals
Now that you covered the shit zone I think another topic all of us wonder about is how hard is it to have sex on the boat with other people on and any funny stories of hearing others going at it on your boat
