At some point when I get used to the Ocean I will go longer distances. I was looking to buy a Sail boat. Figure it was cheaper for Diesel but as you said. Im not really going that far. I rather have the room. So me and my girl can have friends over and take them for sunset dinners etc... Do this for a year or 2 than when I get good at sailing do a longer trips. I ll be part time on my boat. Im now heavy leaning on power boat.

Haven't watched this yet. Long time mariner. Got bit by the sailing bug a long time ago. Taylor (yes that Taylor, post SV Delos) was once discussing the fact that she would never solo on open water. She refused to solo citing her self assessment that she just clearly was wigged out by the reality of the safety implications. That's a mariner in droves. In perspective there are mariners like Laura Dekker who have that confidence in droves, that confidence in their ability to have situational awareness. If your asking RU-vid there's your problem.

I've been a commercial photographer/advertising- for 44 years. I've learned alot obviously, including: ALWAYS consider "your audience". As in.....NOT everyone is going to like your product; that's fine...concentrate on those that do, will, might.... In my own case, I only care about feedback from my clients, ad agencies, potential clients, and....myself! PAID work is my focus- so Joe Public- and RU-vid's (or IG's) DOESN'T matter a shit to me. LoL....I don't even care what my own family thinks! For SANITY....find that sweet spot...."acceptance/recognition"..... on YOUR OWN terms.
