Growing up as a queer Muslim, Saad Alam Khan faced discrimination, but when he joined UNFPA as a UN Volunteer, he saw how people work together regardless of their social, economic, religious, or gender identities.

During his assignment, Saad advocates for access to youth-friendly, gender-sensitive and socially inclusive sexual and reproductive health services.
