My name is Giovanny Murillo, a psychologist specializing in health promotion and human development. I am deeply disappointed by what I have heard about the discriminatory practices of the United Nations. According to colleagues and professionals I have spoken with, it seems that the United Nations tends to favor graduates from elite universities in Colombia, overlooking those from other educational institutions and professions. However, I want to highlight that some of the biggest embezzlements and criminal acts in my country have been committed by individuals from these elite institutions. It is regrettable that an organization like the UN, which is supposed to represent equality and non-discrimination, is perpetuating these practices in Colombia. I intend to bring this complaint to both the UN and the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
One challenge I face with Competency based interview is Scenarios that should be strictly related to the position I am applying for. at times I might have good scenario when i worked as Roving Logisticians than when I worked as Procurement Officer. But I am interviewing for Procurement Position.
