Living in Australia, where I converted to Islam, I was asked by my father who lives in America, “What is it you like about Islam”? My answer was that before the sun comes up every day I get together with people from all over the world and all colours with the unifying purpose of worshipping our Creator.
What an absolute privilege it would be if these two brothers would visit my beloved country, South Africa. I hope that would be soon, though. May ALLAH bless both of you abundantly, Ameen.

I just noticed brother John that in almost all of his lectures and interviews, he never mentioned that he was an Indonesian. His father is from Indonesia, the Indos are so kind and very hospitable, that's the attitude of Asians.,it's just sad that he doesn't seem to be proud of where he came from, which is the grace and creation of Allah.. 28:30 i am arab 🙁
I think his grandfather who is from Indonesia moved to Mecca/Medina to study Islam. And he stayed there. I would say after 2nd generation you kind of lose your original background and become like those in your surroundings. Sheikh Assim’s first language is Arabic. His upbringing was Islamic. His madrasas were Arabic. His friends were diverse most likely, but spoke Arabic as a common language. The colleges are Arabic, everything is Arabic.
Have You known as a Moslem will be a comer in the hell? " Not one of you but will pass over it (hell). Please to read your Qur'ran Surah Maryam verse 71. I won't to be Moslem because I want to be free from the hell fire. If You want to be free from hell fire, just to believe in Jesus as Your Savior.
That verse is saying that all of us will be shown hell, not that all of us will be placed in it. Also jesus (as) never claimed to be god, instead he claimed that his father is greater, he by himself can do nothing, and that the father is the only true god in John 1 17:3. Don’t worship a human being, worship the creator of all human beings like jesus (as) did. Who do you think jesus (as) prostrated on the floor to? God.
