Snoop Dogg performed at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon on Wednesday night, and for 91-year-old Phyllis Austman, it was the night of a lifetime.
When C95 hosts Shauna Foster and Rob Suski heard about Austman’s love for the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper through her niece, Stephanie, they decided to work with local partners and send Austman to the concert in style.
“Tickets to the show, limousine with red carpet service, and a custom T-shirt and mobility aide… we’ve really had amazing partners come on board to make tonight really special,” Foster explained.
Austman said she’s a big fan of the 52-year-old rapper, who’s known for his smooth delivery and affinity for cannabis.
Snoop Dogg’s ‘Cali to Canada Tour’ also included opening acts Mercules, Warren G and DJ Quik.
C95 is the sister station to 650 CKOM.
