For me I think the weakest hero is omen. Hes ult is quite useless if you dont have 3rd. The enemy can also cancel his ult. I think jett is much more powerful in this game
Shroud is literally the perfect person to do a comprehensive overview of all these heros and abilities and how to use them this gives me old IGN Tricks & Tips videos vibes i love it
Some extra info: Sage: You can rotate the wall with either right click (analogue turn) or C (9 degree shift), and it will remember how you left it last time. Brimstone: Stim beacon actually buffs enemy agents as well, and the buff stays a few seconds after you leave the aoe. Cypher: You can detonate the cage while watching it from your camera. Jett: Her ultimate has a secondary fire mode, where she shoot all remaining daggers at once, but that way they have quite a spread. Phoenix: His E ability's fire heals Phoenix as well. Since the firewall blocks line of sight, you can throw the curveballs through, and wont be blinded. Sova: The lenght and speed of your shot is determined by the charge, but it can only be 3 different value. So you don't have to be pixel perfect, as long as you release in the same charge- window, it will be the same shot.
Believe me, if he could have streamed it, he would have. Riot games made all creators with closed beta access pre-record everything and not release it until April 3rd (after that wave of testing ended). If shroud was able to play it on April 3rd, he 100% would have livestreamed this.

He sounds really hyped about it since it has more mechanics from 1.6 than CSGO. And the fact that all people on Twitch got drops and he didnt on Mixer also made him kinda sad when he talked about it which goes to show how much he likes the game.
I like how all the characters have their uses. It doesn't seem like there's a severely under powered character that you want to stay away from. Sure there are a few characters that almost always need to be played in the team but generally speaking all of them are usable. You can play anyone and still have one or two abilities that may drastically help the team in some way.

I love how good each agent is and how well they can be played. It seems to me that these no “trash” agent and the competitive potential for this game is just through the roof
the way you talk about this game is very different from how so many other people talk about games. the description of mechanics in this video are just very sensible and simple, i don't know if it's you or the game or both, but it all seems to make a lot of sense. the video really highlights that those mechanics seem to just result in a really good addition to the competitive shooter formula that Counter Strike basically perfected. they don't seem to be messing with the base gameplay, they seem to instead be complementing it. this evolution makes so much sense that I'm kinda surprised it hadn't already been done.
@@rshs5821 The dart simply pings an enemy for 1 second,without dealing any damage. Comparing that to Echo s gamebreaking 15 second long fuck you button is just stupid.
@@baisansebastian3358 Well, it used to be 10 secs if you stand still, with a max of 18 if you were constantly sprinting. They actually nerfed it recently, so now its a 7 - 12/13 second fuck you button. Still a pain in the ass though.
It honestly looks like Overwatch and CS had a baby which isn't interesting at all. It's either really slow or over before you get to see much skill expression. I guess aim is a form of skill expression but in a game where you pre-aim constantly and essentially kill people as soon as they peak it is not interesting.
Most people. Complain about graphics But they actually forgot that riot toally targetting a low specs.pc thats why the graphics are like that but still can set to higher set of graphics
the gun play in valorant is perfect! if it would be without the agents and just like cs with regular flashbangs, smokes and stuff, it would be cool but nothing new! the fakt that every agent has his own utility kit is kinda smart and new and i love it! it brings so many tactics into the game and thats it what will make it a great game to play and to watch too! riot did a great job, combining multiple games into one masterpiece. and the best part about it: crosshairpositioning and good aiming is the most important aspect of this game which is amazing for every cs player. i like it a lot. thanks riot for taking different games and combine them.
OW+R6+ CSGO . Also ah yes my fav part, getting killed bc of a nuke , a smoke cloud, a teleporting ninja , a flying genji and a hanzo ult across the map at the same time across the map.
Yeah that's so weird a game that's all about vision, information, and aim, most of the abilities are focused on obscuring your vision, stopping you from gathering or fucking with the information you have, and making it harder to hit you I'm truly baffled. Of course characters are going to have similar abilities, every single character has their own playstyle, they all play differently even if their abilities are "similar"
I'm not gonna lie all these abilites, especially ultimates are wayyy more powerful than expected. Like it genuinely seems like one ult can change the whole game, just imagine 5 being used together. Omen teleporting behind you, orbital drill in your face, huge area of affect stuns etc etc. Its going to be absolute chaos and I can't wait.
I know right? I’m genuinely surprised this dude has never played competitive at all, he should really consider it. I personally think he would be really good at CSGO, I’m baffled he’s never played pro for that game
Love Shrouds channel when new games drop. Especially when it's a game hes 100% into. It's like watching the young Mike. Grinding like hell and having a ton of fun, which is when hes the best!

I don't think it will be the biggest competitive game. CS:GO has many die hard fans and League is way too popular in Asian countries where they prefer mobas over fps games. It will definitely have a healthy and large player base though

Jay huang no they don’t. The keys are dropping in waves. April 3rd was the first set of keys. There is no keys dropping until the 7th. Riot devs already confirmed way more keys will drop on the 7th.

another strat with cypher to easily win 1v1s. throw a trapwire in a doorway and a cage directly below the trapwire, as soon as the trapwire is triggered, trigger the cage and now theyre in your cage and you can see them but then cant see you, if you trigger the cage as early as possible you can block their vision of the trapwire so they cant destroy the trapwire, leaving their movement slow and their vision is also impaired from the trapwire explosion.
to all who are criticizing the game this is heaven for a low spec gamer like me I have been playing cs for a long time i always wanted try new games like pubg but my specs weren't that good so it is the best thing to me
All in all it's basically a different shade of CSGO, so you won't really be experiencing a different game, just one with different types of smoke, what seems to be gunplay with a lower skill ceiling than CS's and overpowered ultimates and imo i don't like 1 button abilities that can just change a round because it's just charged up while you've been playing
@@eetukehus8058 But what about the ults like the orbital strike that can stop a bomb plant at 30 secs when youre the only person alive, or the ult where you can throw down a massive poison box on site with viper and essentially win the round? Those arent counterable and thats why i dont like games with 1 button click superpowers. Maybe ill like it when i play. But on paper it doesnt sound right
If we know anything about Riot, its that their next character they release will have all these abilities and a new mechanic plus a counter to every character. GG’s
I haven’t heard many people compare it to smite but there abilities are really similar. It takes inspiration from so many games not just csgo and overwatch.
Great, in CSGO you had to worry about smokes, flashes, recoil, movement inaccuracy, etc , now add another dimension of abilities and tactical fps just got uber tactical. This is gonna be hard.
I mean the recoil and movement inaccuracy in this game is supposedly way more oversimplified compared to csgo. The abilities are what will make it tactical here, the gunplay will not be nearly as challenging
I also feel as if they took away a lot of the skill cap from CSGO’s nades, no lineups or anything required as you can just look at the minimap to see where you smokes will land rather than pixel perfect coordination with your team mates. They also just replaced molotovs and flash bangs with hero’s that do their jobs

Its counter strike with powers. That type of games died long time ago. Kids wants fast gaming, moving, flying, sliding, shooting. Thats why overwatch was so good and the other weird game that was like overwatch. Even Apex really..
so basically sage should be with the ace of the team,so that she can give him a chance (to resu) to win for the team. brimstone can win the round even though he is a little far from the bomb. cypher and sova is for spying. jett and phoenix should be in the aggro unit. breach support the aggro unit. viper is a traitor
I feel like theres a lot of heroes that have very good clutch potential all in their own way and i think thats really fun for the game. Sage seems more like an insanely stable pick for every team because she can just do a lot on her own and with a team. She can play very defensively and offensively and use her walls to peak an angle they wouldnt expect. Ive heard the game is planned to release around summer and i think thats when i have enough money for a pc so im pretty hyped about the game
I like the fact that all characters are basically op in their own fields but what separates the pro from the scrub is the skill of using the characters ability. A lot of games do not understand the fun in being overpowered through pure skill and not paying for power. This game is setting a very nice precedent for other games.
in my opinion i think this is a cool game, but for me its mostly like csgo with movement and weapons/buys, but the graphics is straight up paladins. of course most of the abilities are pretty interesting, how you can just place in different smokes or use you abilities through walls, i mean just think about the 100iq plays pros can do with these different abilities. (the problem is, is that there are way to much of em)
Valorant and Crossfire 2 have to appear on the market as soon as possible and give to CsGo competition. To make valve to improve their game from point of view of cheating, servers, to add source2( that mean some new graphics, smothness,ambient reflections, fixes bugs, and better gameplay overall, etc), new ranking system, new features like maybe a new gun, some new metas(like the comeback of tec and cz), and a new big operation with new agents, skins and better/new missions. The game can have more ambition and can have more features that could be implemented to keep the players satisfied and push their peek record of conccurent players to a new level. So the csgo would have more features to add than i just wrote above.
This game locks awesome, i hope i get a key to test it. Not sure if it will realy popular so fast but i have faith in it. Maybe this will be the new esl hit, for me it will.
It's going to get a load of the league playerbase and the csgo playerbase, not to mention maybe some of the overwatch/paladins crowd. There's not going to be any shortage of players
The thing that doesn't convince me about this game is that almost every ability goes through walls so you can be hit by a stun and then a bomb or smth like that without even seeing it coming
Not really every abilities that goes through walls have a big delay, and all characters can block your vision withe their own versions of smoke grenades and this isn't like over watch, it's all about the gunplay and aim
Yeeeah its more of a counter strike with abilities than an overwatch. I don't want to knock it till I try it but idk, it doesn't look like my kind of game. Its still in an early phase of development to be fair
