Missed opportunity, all the vanquish needed to be improved was the gearbox, and that's the only thing that hasn't been improved 🤦🏾‍♂️

Brilliant video as always. Yet again you manage to really take us into the actual experience of the car, rather than a shallow review like so many other RU-vidrs. You really are among the very best, never give up.

In other words, Aston Martin had 25 Vanquish chassis left over and thought they could try and flog them off at insane costs.

Luke not being worried at all, with 3 coffees already in a prototype shutting it down with his knee. More seriously, your video bring us a true feeling of that masterpiece. The detail of the watch is amazing. Maybe it’s detachable because being mechanical it needs some sort of movement or winding to work.

Quite nice that . Updating the Ian C Vanquish we saw him with his first version in his Clan Tartan interior in a nice Blue exterior. Compared to the Special projects like the vantage spitfire or the Goldfinger DB5 it sits well retro w needed modern touches in electrical.

This car clearly takes significant influence from the incredibly handsome 2007-2012 Aston Martin DBS. It's much more mature than the current over-dramatic DB11 / DBS offerings, which I believe are wrongly pitched at their target markets of older, 40+ men. Gorgeous.

Now that is a cool car. If I had the money to buy one I would consider it. But only if they fit it with a better manual gearbox. Would have thought they used the same as are in the DBS, V12 Vantage and DB9. And that is good gearbox with short movement between the gears. That should fit perfectly since it is the same engine. That sound though. The original Vanquish is cool but this is just on another level. Nice video as usual. Keep up the good work.

This is a stunning Aston Martin

As a car guy this car just leaves me cold. Yeah it sounds good but even as a collectors item it’s a bit shit. I’d much rather have a GT3 RS 4.0 or something like a 599 GTO which both command this kind of money, maybe more here in the UK. I drove a V12 vantage S not too long ago and it was a great car but I just don’t see this point in this, just buy a Vanquish if you want this car.

Obviously meant to be a garage queen to be looked at. They will sell the point that driving it will be an “event”. All that said it is beautiful and if I had the money to get one I would. I’m allowed one garage queen when she looks like that.

4:01 would have made sense for it to come with a wrist strap that it can clip onto when you leave the car. Also you’d have thought the knob would be a bit nicer looking than one that looks like it’s from a Volvo of that era. Otherwise it looks fantastic

I wish they'd got rid of the rear wheel arch crease in the door. Just makes it look like an after thought of a wheel arch has been stuck on. Just wish they'd smoothed it out... Other than that, it's gorgeous. Love it...
