Meet the 'gritty folk' who revived central MN's Cuyuna Country 

I've ridden some of those trails a few times. They're amazing and worth driving to. Red dirt and I think mica rocks in the ground that shimmer. Lots of variety of types and skill levels of trails. too.

Minnesota as a whole is an absolutely wonderful state for mountain biking. I haven't been to Cuyuna since before covid, so I'm excited to see how much it has grown. 😁

Locals are still dumping stuff out there I've come across campers that are abandoned and trash all over.

Tim Wegner is the man behind it, should have been mentioned. Also, Redhead and an expansion of Giants Ridge were primarily funded by a small community group who established funding for Tioga In Cohasset, led by Dave Parrish

I love Cuyuna!! Those trails are so much fun, Red dirt on your tires, and beautiful. Mountain biking is a blast and so many skills to learn.

The Twin Cities needs to shut down some of these golf courses and turn them into mountain bike courses. The one on Theo Wirth on Hwy 55 would do quite nicely!!
