At first, the “just because we’ve seen it or not doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened” - paired with the laughter - reminded me of that press conference 20 years ago where Rumsfeld said “there are things we know, things we don’t know, and things we don’t know we don’t know” … until I thought about it for a moment. These two statements - as ridiculous as they sound on first listen - they actually DO make sense. Maybe I’m just slow and didn’t realize that before? Maybe everyone else already knows that?

Unpopular opinion but yes, they actually DO make sense. I feel like a lot of people just aren't smart enough to see it, so they just make fun of it because they know it'll get a laugh from others. That's what ignorance does all the time, just like the schoolyard bully. Kamala sounds like she likes to pontificate as if she was a philosophy professor, but that just tells me she's highly intelligent AND highly educated. Can I giggle a little at a nervous vague sentence or three? Sure, but I think it's a better than hearing "umm, uhh..." all the time, and I'm not dumb enough to make fun of her for it.

She reminds me of the former president of Brazil DILMA ROUSSEFF who used to say things like :”Neither whoever wins or loses will win or lose, everyone will lose.” Or another phrase of hers: “We Will not set a goal, but when we reach the goal, we double the goal.”
