This is Part 1 of my 2023 visit to Brent Wigand’s nursery. Watch out for part 2 coming out soon! 😊☕️🌵 Brent’s nursery is open to public by appointment only.
I was at Brents place 2 weeks ago and came home to AZ with about $200 worth of amazing cactus. I reached out to him after seeing one of your videos. I cannot wait to go back in the fall!
WOWSERS Ana, what an AWESOME video and Tour and it must have been so wonderful to visit Brent and see his amazing Cactus Nursery, what a total dream to visit and see all of Brent's amazing Trichocereus and Echinopsis stunners, and WOW with all of the Tricho Superblooms, so many awesome cacti for sale too, I want to buy them all haha, the red plastic pots are fantastic, I bought a lot of the smaller red ones in our bargain stores during lockdown too, thanks so much for sharing part one of your amazing visit to Brent's Nursery with us Ana and we are so looking forward to watching Part Two, Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and PLANT POWER to Las Vegas for a fantastic Thursday XXXX
Oh, how I want you and Hans to meet Brent. I’m sure with all 3 of you so passionate about the hobby, you can spend a whole day just chatting about cactus. ☺️
Just got back from Brent’s house, about 30 minutes ago. I picked up 6 of his cactuses. I can’t wait until they bloom! Brent was very friendly and showed me his cactuses and answered all my questions. He even answered my questions about the two cactuses I already own. It was definitely worth the drive out there, even in this ridiculous California crowded traffic. It is unbelievable the traffic here, even on the weekends. Ana thanks for letting me know about Brent’s plants and thank you Brent for your cactus and your low prices and your knowledge of cactus.
Wow, that is really cool! I’m glad you were able to visit him and see his nursery yourself. He has so much beautiful plants. It is hard to choose. Brent’s passion for his plants is very contagious. ☺️
Awesome video, Ana 😃 Good to see you back at Brent’s nursery again. Amazing plants and the blooms are stunning. Looking forward to part 2. Thank you for sharing with us as always. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜☕️
Incredible blooms 😍 Thanks for sharing, Ana! I loved hearing his growing tips. Especially about not letting them dry out too much, because it’s hard to rehydrate them. I learned that the hard way. The roots withered away, so I had to regrow the roots before my cacti started looking good again.
Wow thanks for taking time to make this video! Im going to make a trip to his nursery! My trichocerus cacti are the ones that have weathered the 2023 Vegas heatwave the best (even better than my opuntia and Peruvian torch) so I’m getting more of them with the beautiful flowers!! 🫶🫰
Quite a sight !!! All those flowers at once!!! Makes me wish I had a bigger greenhouse!!! I have only one large trichocereus grandiflores hybrid. But it doesn't like to bloom. Even out in the full sunlight. It's been out all summer, but no flowers. Love seeing his plants!!! Thanks for sharing Ana!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, have a wonderful weekend ahead!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌵🌿🌻🌳🌸🌷🌴🌾💐🌱🌹😃👍
Yes, you need another greenhouse! Your collection is growing bigger. I can’t believe how easy (it seems) for him to make his cacti bloom so profusely. Every cactus I saw was covered with at least half a dozen buds!
Planning a trip to Wildomar for pickups 😍 Fell in love with some of his ‘for pickup’ only. I have a flying saucer from a friends whose grew humongous and I was blessed with the opportunity to come pick up offsets that fell off
Very nice video Ana been looking forward for you to do another visit to Brent, lovely to watch these tours. Should do another one at Cactus Joe's too :) always nice to see. Thanks for sharing!
Brent’s website only show’s pictures of his plants. He takes orders by email, text or Facebook or Instagram message. I know it would have been great if he can take online orders, maybe in the future. 🙂
Those cacti's flowers are so amazing. How big/tall does the flying saucer cactus get ? Can you limit its size by growing it in a pot and it doesn't inhibit the size of the flowers ? I'm surprised his website doesn't have an online ordering process other than texting him directly. Mr. TorchCactus, please provide your email on your website :)
