The RIGd UltraSwing Hitch Carrier Mega-Fit is a bolt on solution that lets you carry up to a 40” spare tire, without dealing with the hassle of a bed mount. Most full size trucks can’t fit a 35" or 37” spare, so if you need a backup, this is the best way to carry it on the trail!

I read through some of the comments. I have a 2019 Power Wagon. A 35" (34.8" measured) fits fine in stock location under the bed. Just have to take 10 minutes to pull the exhaust heat shield and modify the shield to fit with the 35" tire. Plenty of us doing it.

I got mine in without modifying the shield. Just deflated it to 25 psi.

@@NickMango Some people can't get it to fit even then without modding the heatshield. The thought is that there is some variance in heatshield clearances from RAM. Not to mention tire variances. Either way, it's easy to do up to a 35" tire. I run 37 now though.

FINALLY !! That’s awesome, I think Carli was working on a spare tire carrier that actually mounts under the truck like normal but will fit a 37 inch tire.

The rear diff on the RAM would make contact with anything larger than OEM in the under-bed location

If you got a front hitch, I’m sure it would work, but it would be conflicting to proper air flow for cooling

Got the old von hiemer mount, I welded the nut to the 2500 spare tire carrier. I still think its the best way to carry spares

@@mansour3250 it's old from the DTX website, best bet is to buy the strapt performance mount. And get some extra all thread and a coupler so it can mount 2.

Do you think this would be worth the price if you don’t care about putting your tire on there but moreso the ability to access your back doors and just have a kayak rack on there? I only see pics and videos with a tire and I just want the ability to have a kayak rack I can swing around as well as tow while it’s in place while having the anti rattle technology 😅Thanks!

You can actually just set up a new camera on the swing hitch license plate bracket and then run that into the truck if needed.

Yes we just didn't mount it on this truck. This rack had a dedicated license plate relocation bracket.

How did yours get tucked in so close to the bumper? I got one for my Land Cruiser and it sticks out about 2.5 inches too far. I wonder if they changed the design a bit.

The rear view camera can be relocated to the license plate mount on the carrier.

The parking sensors will view the carrier as an object and need to be turned off.

Carli most likely won’t offer the trophy hitch as a production item- At least not in the near future.
