Join Dr. Jann Vendetti, NHM’s Associate Curator of Malacology (and resident snail specialist) for a glimpse into the wonderful world of molluscs! From our gardens to the sea, learn how this extremely diverse group of organisms has adapted its use of slime for different environments.
Over the next few weeks, we are going to be exploring the Science of Slime during our Meet the Scientist programs, in partnership with Nickelodeon. Every Monday from now through December, you can join us to meet one of our scientists at the Natural History Museum and learn about the clever ways different animals and plants use their slime to survive!
