Huge Georgia fan and Steelers fan here. We got a steal boys. Daijun will be a 10 year vet in the league. He’s not the most explosive back, but he’s extremely shifty, instinctual, and always makes the first man miss. He can get skinny through very tight spaces and he’s on the smaller side so defenders often lose him in the traffic. He’s going to be a great piece for us.
Vision reminiscent of Le'Veon (NOT saying he's LBell) and his running style harkens back to Darren Sproles a bit with that quick-cut, open-field twitchiness!
"he lowkey runs like Bell" I was bout to comment that then saw your comment glad not the only who saw that.. his footwork/running style are the same bruh
Huge Ga fan And Steelers fan. I played ball with him in high school. He played linebacker and running back in Jv. He hits hard and is very hard to bring down not to mention very shifty descisive and elusive
He seems so patient and fast at the same time when it comes to finding the hole reminds me a little of bells backfield ability being behind the line of finding the gap
He'll make the practice squad at best, unless we trade Warren for whatever reason. Already got Najee, Jaylen, and Patterson is making the 53 purely based on his KR experience. Now that I'm typing about it, I guess Patterson doesn't have to get any RB reps, so maybe we shouldn't count him as a RB, in which case, there may be room for this guy on the 53. Either way, he's great to have in the room, especially if Jaylen gets hurt.
I honestly think Cordararele Patterson, and McCole Pruitt are here to show by example how to run Arthur Smiths offense at their age that's the obvious motive, because you definitely don't scoop up the top udfa rb if you don't plan on him being in a backup role. You can't possibly expect MyCole Pruitt to make the team over Darnell Washington, Pat Friermuth, or Connor Heyward he's definitely going to be tutoring Connor Heyward who's similar to him but much younger and super talented McCole is the perfect mentor in camp
His style and abilities remind me a bit of a young Ray Rice.. As in a shifty cut back runner. He makes up for lack of high end speed by running smart, looking down field.
He's healthy, fast, shifty with good vision... A tough runner he is not... He goes down after initial contact... He's certainly fighting for that 3rd spot.. And I'm ok with that.
Poeple under estimate some of these dudes that play on superteams in college. I really like this guy a lot. since Kahn has taken over, I think he is going to be Tomlin's and our saving grace since the killer bee's and Shazier fell off. Times were good, times are gunna be greater here soon steeler nation. Stairway to 7, dont forget. we have been stellar in drafting and our udfa's as of late. Najee will be back, and we will sign fields long term and save some cash on him too. lets go!
Situational halfback at best. Agreed, he does run like Jaylen. There is no beef in the film and front end of NFL defenses will chew him up. Special teams? Maybe, if he can hold on to the ball I'd love to say, "Metcalf who?" Eric Metcalf, that is to say. Beating the Steelers with two TD returns, a kickoff and a punt, is the only Steeler loss I appreciate to this day.
@@mike2687 I didn't say that he needs to be a starter to be a part of the trio I was Talking About in general because rn we don't know who is going to be WR2 & 3 behind GP
Your name is very appropriate......you are ABSOLUTELY "TRIPPY" on this one.....ZERO chance that happens......dude will get cut and MAYBE get signed to the practice roster at BEST.
@@reesereese6510 he can be a Steeler all he wants but we are not paying two running’s backs starting back money and Jaylen is gonna want starting money when it comes time.
I don’t care for this pick up. We already have JWarren #30 I think to have a fast bowling ball & a bruiser to counteract is better than 2 RB’s that’s the same 🤷🏾♂️
looks like a good player but he wont make the roster unless we decide to carry 4 RBs. 1 Najee starter 2. Jaylen Warren. C Patterson is our third RB/WR/KR.
This guy looks awesome butttt the running back room is full of talent Najee Harris Jaylen Warren and Patterson do you think we would keep 4 running backs on the roster
Cordarelle Patterson is not really a running back. He is more like a swiss army knife player who can play kick return, punt return, wide receiver, and running back. He is not used solely as a runningback, and it's more likely that Steelers use him as a hybrid player of sorts, including kick-off returns. He'll only play heavy amounts of snaps at runningback if Harris or Warren get injured. Edwards probably only makes the practice squad if he is good, but they'll want at least 4 players who can play running back in case of injury.
Practice squad piece in case of emergency injury. I mean.....ANYONE who gets to Georgia and gets playing time is obviously a very good football player. People see these "highlight" videos and freak out thinking dudes are automatic stars. "Beast" ???? C'mon man. If he is a "Beast" he would have been drafted. I could show you HUNDREDS of "highlight videos" of dudes that will make them look like "beasts"......temper your enthusiasm people....there is a REASON he wasn't drafted. The Jaylen Warrens happen but are few and far between.
Unless he is a special teams superstar he won't make the team. The Steelers only keep 3 RBs and they aren't getting rid of Najee, Jaylen, or Cordarrelle
