I'm starting to see why vacationers love to go on a cruise. The cruise ship itself is like a massive resort except it's amphibious. I wouldn't even care about the itinerary - scheduled destinations or port stops. The cruise that includes all kinds of amenities plus the buffets is good enough for my money.
Yes, of course it does. I know a lot of folks are afraid because of what happened to the Titanic over 100 years ago... But because of that tragedy, there are new laws set in place. Like enough lifeboats, life jackets, lifeboat drills etc etc. Another thing is this is a cruise ship. Not an ocean liner. Titanic was an ocean liner meaning a form of transportation. Now that’s completely false. The icon has even MORE than enough lifeboats and life rafts to fit all passengers and crew. It’s even equipped with extra life rafts if needed. Almost every cruise ship nowadays does. The Titanic incident happened over 110 years ago, there is new laws, upgrades and requirements for a ship to even be allowed to get built today. Cruise ships are safer than ever with today’s safety knowledge and technology, we are humans. We learn from our mistakes.
