Oh..poor cat was wobbly while eating, too. Thanks to u I just googled and, read abt it.. Its incurable and, is passed on from the infected, pregnant mother cat to the kittens.. These cats live a full life :)
I think animals with cerebral actually can feel pain from it. But it has different levels of intensity. Thankfully this kitty didn't get the hardest one
He is the cutest little thing! His wobbles are the best, I hope his life isn’t too hard by that, even though it could be worse. Edit: I haven’t looked at this and 2k likes!!?? MOM IM FAMOUS 😅
Guys there’s no need to worry! This syndrome is pain free. After a while the cats can learn to adapt to the changes. And the people, like getting a bigger bowl. The cats life span stays the same and the cat will live a normal, happy life! There’s nothing to this syndrome that’s sad and the cat doesn’t seem to have it bad!
Not true cerebellar hypoplasia is cause by parvo in utero, and many times affects other parts for the brain from completing development. Many time this leads felines to develop other disorders such as, retinal dysplasia, optic neuropathy, and a shorter lifespan.
Wobbly cats are some of the sweetest and best little souls. I've only worked with two in the 12 years I've volunteered with the cat rescue in my town. Each one found a Forever Family that could understand and support them. Massive love to any family that takes in a Special Kitty, no matter what makes that kitty unique!
@Dyslexic Mitochondria if youre somehow not a bot and read this, i genuinely wonder what you are trying to do. I lose faith in people because of people like you
Yea no one wanted the kitten we adopted he was black 😞 he was finally got a good home and now he's 10 human years old we got him at 3 months old human time so yea he's an old boi
when I volunteered at a cat sanctuary, there was a wobbly cat named stitch who lived there! he was also blind, but as soon as he heard you say his name he would wobble on over as fast as his little legs could carry him :") he was a sweetheart and full of love for anyone and everyone.
@I feel like it’s an advantage because their head moves which confuses the prey, and predators can’t bite the neck easily without it moving. But the sight is a bad part of that
It is kinda sad, because I’m sure he’s exhausted a lot and has a difficult time with balancing. He’s not in pain but it’s probably pretty inconvenient for him. Kind of like humans with ticks from Tourette Syndrome. Doesn’t hurt, but must be pretty annoying for them. Looks like he has a great home with people that love him though ❤
Naming your cat wobble while he has cerbellar hipoplasia is the most genius thing ever i don't wanna be that annoying kid but 3,000 likes in a month is just something else.
@woke up lik dis Basically a condition where they can't really balance so their head shakes constantly. The condition causes them no pain but it's best that they are kept as inside cats.
Just keep vibing, he has good home, good owner, good food but most importantly. He got good moves PS: the síndrome does not pain the cat, it just makes him have a hard time when he need to balance.
Nope. It's just dizzy. It's inner ear didn't form correctly so the world is always spinning to it. It can learn to compensate as it gets older and while it will always wobble a bit, they can even run and jump and play.
He he i ised to know of a cat that had this for his whole body, he couldnt run or walk straight but he loved EVERYTHING with so much passion! He was the happiest kitty! His name was strut!
I feel so bad for this cat but at the same time this is the most adorable cat I have ever seen. I hope you give them all the love and cuddles that this cat deserves which is all of them
I'm not a cat person, but this is, without a doubt, one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Edit: I realize this is a health issue, however, the seething, SFB posts that exclaim things like "ItS NoT CuTe! iTs A DiSeAsE" aren't solving this cat's issues. Would you rather we mourn the cat, hide it away, and never speak of it again because "ItS a DiSeASe!!1!", or smile, maybe laugh a little, and celebrate the little cat because it's cute, while making the best out of a bad situation? Calm down, realize that your righteous indignation, holier-than-thou attitude, and virtue signaling gets you nowhere, and smile with the rest of us.
Try getting to know one. Some take their time to let you in, but most of them are utterly charming. I think you’d be surprised. Use a soft voice, slow movements, and a gentle touch. You’ll never look back. 😻
@@bluefossa45 I bet you're fun at parties. Seriously, the video is cute--I'm not making light of the poor thing's condition. Otherwise, why aren't you going after the video creator for setting their cat's movement problems to music? Because sometimes life is cruel, and sometimes if you don't laugh, you'll cry. Lighten up a little.
@@rajshekhar5063 cerebellar hypoplasia, in some cases it's severe and causes pain, but in this case it doesn't cause any pain it's just harder to eat and drink and stuff!
I'M SO HAPPY!! I work at a cat shelter, and we've had our fair share of CH babies in. We have one now who likes to lay next to people or sit in their laps (mild case). Nothing warms my heart more than to see owners take such good care of their babies like this, and I hope she gets an equally great home.
@@itsnola8095 It's called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) or Wobbler's Syndrome! While the mother was pregnant, she was exposed to the Panleukopenia virus through either vaccination or catching it naturally. It's a condition from birth, so it won't get better, but it won't get worse either. There's also different levels: mild, moderate, and severe. It does not hurt the cat or cause any damage. Physically, this fella is healthy and okay! They can live long and happy lives with it. They tremble and wobble because the cerebellum in the brain, which controls balance and fine motor skills, is underdeveloped due to the virus. Since this happens from birth, they adapt and learn how to live with it very early on. There's also things that can be done to make it easier for them, like having carpeted floors or high side litterboxes.
I know right? I, a full grown man, who weighs 230lbs, and is 6'10, just squealed at the top of my lungs and ran across the house to show my roommate, who happens to also be a full grown man, and was a linebacker in high school, and proceeded to squeal over the fact that his NAME IS WOBBLE 'CAUSE HE BOBBLES. Oh did I mention I also ran into 3 walls on the way to showing this?
For anyone wondering, it's not an illness, it's a disorder that's apperantly quite common with cats. Caused by various things, that can impact the brain: genetics, viral infections, injury to the back or head, and some more things But just with this condition, cats can live a normal and happy live. Some extra equipment in the house like this food bowl make their live easier :3
@Venus.604 Some of those people are only particularly paralyzed. If they struggle to stand up and say something in their defense, they'd quiet the room and display how important their side of an argument was to them. It's like when a quiet person stubs their toe in the other room.
My youngest cat has a mild case and is pretty funny to watch. Now that she’s full grown with good muscle tone she mostly just comes across as a derpy PITA but coordinated she is not
@@Isaiahdeas89 that's not true he is loved . Even if he was now it's probably gone by now he's a loved happy healthy kitten you are wrong wobbly is so cute
@@__ru_ I mean, the worse that happens is cats with cerebellar hypoplasia might get freaked out when it happens(especially if it'sn worse, as in full body spasms), or be unbalanced, but that's all really
This fits so perfectly with the song Edit: yeah that is probably the cutest cat I’ve ever seen and thank you guys for all the like I have never had this many likes before
@@petra6655 the cat does not have “ill ears”. The cat has a neurological problem, there is nothing that can be done, the cat is living what looks to be a blessed life indoors. It’s owners have decided to show its adorable ness to the world. They are thereby showing the world that, even with such troubles, an animal can live a good life I laugh at the cat, yes! I laugh because the music fits. I laugh at a cat who lives it’s best life possible. He’s a beautiful ginger tabby that I wish I could hold and cuddle and give much love.
Thank you so much for loving him!! So many people would have felt justified getting rid of him and it breaks my heart and drives me crazy. It makes me so happy to see a wonderful cat like that being treated properly ❤️ 🐱
