I have a CH cat! His name is Professor Wobbles!! I’ve had him since he was born. We got the mom when she was about to give birth. I decided to keep Professor Wobbles cause he was so cute and so sweet! He’s 10 years old now and healthy and happy and very, very wobbly!!

As serious as it is, wobbly kittens are so cute! I'm so happy you're close to 1,000!

My CH cat Beuky lived to be 16 yrs old back in the day. She was between Taylor and Sterling in terms of severity. She was a sweetheart and she never lost her kittenish awkwardness so she always triggered my compassion whenever she would walk or stumble into a room and meow for attention. An overgrown kitten until the very end!

Awwwwww Sterling is so cute, he looks like a lighter baby version of Smee.

I have a wobbly cat! Upon just reading about CH, I wasn’t so sure if my cat met the criteria. Watching this video really helped me confirm that my lil Chico has mild CH. He’s got bad balance, often overshoots or undershoots his jumps, won’t jump on surfaces higher than 2 ft, sometimes jerks his head, can knock himself off balance by doing a head shake, and walks with his back legs slightly wide apart and picks them up extra when he runs around.

I've been fostering kittens for over 15 years and this year I have met and received my first CH Kitten to foster! His finder named him Stephen Hawking. He is much like Sterling, in wobblyness and talkativeness! I'm happy to see the comparisons between mild, mod, and severe as I never have seen it before. Thank you for what you do! ❤️❤️

My CH cat Forrest can run now. I have been helping him train for the past 2 years. You can see my baby Forrest when I got him two years ago. He could barely walk. I named him Forrest and now he can run some days. Thank you for helping these Beautiful unorthodox cats.

Thank you. We have a new litter and one of them has this condition. He was born a perfectly normal kitten I'm not sure if he took a fall or had a stroke but it doesn't stop him enjoying life and he's no fear of anything, was playing with my ferrets this morning! He's a beauty ❤

My wife and I just adopted a cat who walks just like Sterling. We got her because the previous owner was about to to the pound where she likely would've been euthanized. We weren't sure what was wrong with her but after research, we believe she has CH. She really is a sweet kitten and we are glad we could save her. My children fell in love immediately. The only word of caution I would give is to avoid handing them treats. The day we got her I got bit on the finger all the way to the bone because she wobbled as she was reaching for it and clamped down one instead of the treat.

Thank you so much for this! I was searching for more info/examples of mild CH last year, but struggled to find anything. I adopted two rescue Devon Rex last year. One is totally normal, but baby Jayjay is definitely uber clumsy, he falls a lot & has terrible coordination! But any tremble is super minor, so I wasnt sure it was CH. His gait is also odd, he sort of trots widely and when he jumps onto surfaces his jumps much higher than he needs to, we call it his flea jump 🤣 he’s at the vet hospital today, their initial assessment is something to do with the cerebellum & as it’s been consistent over the 18mths we’ve had him, I’m hopeful it’s just CH. Tomorrow he’s having an MRI, bloods etc to rule anything else out. From another person with wobbly MH & a passion for kitty rescue (sadly being a 5 cat household now means I can’t foster at the mo!), sending much love & gratitude. Phoenix, she/they.

Sterling looks just like our newest kitten named Twiggles, she has CH, she is one of the Feral cats we feed and care for. We decided to bring her home because there is no way she could have survived in the wild so to speak. Thank you for this video. Now I can confidently say she has moderate CH. ♥️

Thanks for this video. I just took in a bottle baby and he can walk but he has head tremors. I don’t know if he's just young and uncoordinated, but I guess we'll find out in time. Seeing the different types in your video really helped.

Looking at this because yesterday I adopted a 1 yo kitten and I think she may have mild CH (the shelter didn't notice, they'd only had her for a week and a half) Taking her back to get a second opinion from their veterinarians. (No, I'm not surrendering her, she's adorable)

I had a ginger & white, like the sweet kitten u’re babysitting, and he was in a house with 5 “normal” cats, & it became apparent that he knew he couldn’t do everything his siblings were doing, and I’m sure on some level he knew he was different which broke my💔, but my sweet boy had an indomitable spirit, and he figured out a way to do most everything, his siblings did! He was the joy of my life, for 10 years, & he went everywhere with me, but my poor boy met an untimely and terrible death, due to veterinary error, and I was destroyed! He was tiny but mighty, bossy, had the cutest temper tantrums, likely because he really needed sleep,so he’d grab his stuffed🐰,Tiggy, and little 😺Nellie🐰would fall right asleep! What a 🎁from God, they all are, especially those like😺Nellie🐰! May God bless you and your’s, and I thank you for this channel, to bring awareness to what a gift these beautiful cats are. I wanted to do that when Nellie was alive, but I didn’t want to really be in the public eye, but u go girl! I’m a new subscriber! Come to think of it, when I first got😺Nellie🐰, I don’t think you tube was around or in its infancy, and when it was fairly new, there were hardly any channels about cats with CH, but now, I’m happy to see there are a lot of channels about these angels! 💜🙏😘😺🌟🎁🌈🦋🎁✝️😺

I’m glad I found something about this the vet told me not to worry but I want to understand if my baby has any extra needs or if there’s anything else I need to do.

I got a new kitten about a month ago and 3 weeks ago we found out he had panleukopenia (we've treated it already and he's fine now) but we've started to notice that he walks a bit diferently from other cats we've had and i started doing some reasearch and I think it might be CH, i'm going to talk to our vet about it but your video helped a lot! if it is indeed CH it's a pretty mild case and he's a very happy kitten. So I just got a ch kitten and he can walk just takes him a bit with hi wobbles but he shakes a lot more than the mild/moderate one but he can walk I'm just trying to figure out if he's just somewhere in between moderate to severe

I for sure wish full health and safety and happiness for all nonhuman animals no matter what but I'm kinda envious of that lovely situation you got in the video with three loveballs all around you. ^_^ Also I'm just learning about these cerebellar related conditions and so far all the examples I've seen seemed to have their hind legs as the epicenter of their shaking so that was a surprise to see a case where the head was more shaky than the legs. Also I was wondering if custom made walker/wheel chairs could help offering them more balance and keep their hind legs at the normal angle and maybe help them keep standing on their own and eat food and drink water normally. Thanks so much for sharing! These videos are very valuable and informative and heartwarming and also I'm fully with you that euthenasia isn't the answer for nonhuman animals' health issues and sicknesses, that's just a lazy irresponsible inhumane way some people who are for that option run away from their humane responsabilities to search for any possible treatment or support and actually properly commit to the process just like people are expected to do the same for their own family members and fellow humans.

This is totally theoretical dreaming for me, but I have a bird who doesn’t know how to fly but is fully flighted (has all flight feathers and possibly capable of flying), he’s older than me so he’s about 32, hopefully he’ll live for as long as he wish! I always wanted a cat, I still can’t care of other pets because disabilities but one day. I wonder if cats with moderate CH can hunt my bird! Because that would be mean and I wouldn’t want to let that happen it sound terrifying for my birdo. Thanks for the video! My mom is searching for a bonded pair after losing her two cats several years ago to old age. I'm helping her search and found a possible pair but one has what the shelter calls a "very mild" case of CH and I just wanted to see what that would be like. Very good to know it doesn't progress with age.

what could it be if the kitten only has short lived episodes of CH appearing symptoms...they come on every 2-3 weeks. I do notice the slightest wobble to her head pretty much all the time its almost hard to notice though nothing like the head shakes in these kittens. its confusing because it appears CH is constant...but my girl has episodes of it then seems normal

Hi! I have recently begun to a foster a CH kitty who would have otherwise been euthanized by a client at work. I work at a vet clinic, however, kitties with CH are not a common occurrence here. Do you have any tips on feeding? He is around 4-5 weeks old. Any advice?

question: is CH just in the legs or in the whole body? I saw them have some like wobbles throuout their bodies but that might just be from their legs.

Have you noticed cats without CH tending to being anxious around the erratic movements of CH kitties? I used to live with a CH kitty and a non-CH kitty and I felt as though she used to bully him because she got nervous by his movements. But she was also a bit of a meanie in general lol. There's a CH kitty at a shelter I fell in love with but I'm worried about my cat at home not liking her because of that experience.

Our rescue kitten - around 3 months old - developed wobbliness in his rear legs in the last 10 days. He cannot walk without his rear part falling to the ground but his front legs are very strong and head is pretty normal. He also had constipation issues a few days ago and now he has urinating problems. Our vet is suspecting CH but his symptoms seems different than your sweet cats. It's very frustrating. I just found a stay kitten that was obviously very sick. For the first week she just laid around, didn't open her eyes, and refused to walk. I took her to vet and she is finally getting a little better. I think she is blind in one eye and partially in the other (she was extremely malnourished). With her health getting better, she is begging to be awake more and walking. I have noticed that her back legs don't work like her front ones. She can walk a few steps but then falls over. She doesn't have any tremors but definitely walkes better on carpet. Does this sound like maybe a mild form of CH, or can it just be her adjusting and getting her health slowly back? I'm pretty worried about her, but her next vet appointment is in 3 weeks.

I have my first CHP baby. It is so interesting! His mother is so good with him. There was only 2 , including him, in his litter. Sadly, his brother Abel didn't make it. He was so tiny and weak. So, now Asher is on his own. He is about 3 weeks. I have so many questions. Since he has no siblings, how do have him play? Will he safely be able to transition to kibble..is he a choke risk? Right now, his neck is weak and he works hard to lift his head and look around. I'm wondering if I need to be extra careful with his head when picking him up?

I work at a shelter a CH cat was brought in as a stray (shame on the bastards who abandoned him) i fostered then adopted him and he is quite a handful I sometimes have to stop him from doing things he shouldnt lol but Im glad I was able to give him a home😸

I found a kitten and i took him home he's about 3 weeks old he was normal at first and then he started meowing and couldn't walk properly i thought he was constipated so i gave him a remedy and he got better but today he started meowing and breathing faster whenever he walks he falls im so worried

Please help me, How do you know if you kitten has CH or if they have Feline Parvovirus? I ask because I have 2 kittens that were normal and now they are wobbling. I read that Feline Parvo is highly contagious and these kittens were normal, but now wobbly. They are eating, they are playing, they are trying to be active. They are like this "severe" cat in this video. I dont want more cat that I've had for years to get sick from these new kittens if they are sick, but they dont act sick, they act just like these and they still play, no throwing up, they aren't sickly, they look very healthy and act healthy besides the wobbling. Please help. I know I need a vet, but I honestly am so strapped for cash. These kittens were from a feral mom whom I was able to domesticate. I feed them all and my male cat tolerates all of them and the mom loves my male cat. can you help me? I have no experience in this and at the moment, all my money is tied up in a lawsuit where my mom was paralyzed from medical malpractice. Any help at all would be wonderful.

your beginning information is slightly incorrect. CH is not caused by vaccinating the mother during pregnancy. it’s mostly because of feline panleukopenia passed in utero. trauma and malnourishment also causes the condition. it has nothing to do with vaccinating your pet whatsoever. when a mother cat is at risk of panleuk you’re actually encouraged to vaccinate her. whoever told you ofherwise misled you.
