Nope. He was absent filming and she was essentially a single parent for years. She was lonely. He didn’t realize just how lonely until it was too late.
Every woman wants her husband there, that’s why you get married. Raising 3 small children alone is very hard. I am surprised she didn’t divorce sooner, he was not there for her or the kids. It’s very sad because the kids need full time parents. He is old like me and she sees her age going up and wants someone who shares her same same dreams. I am surprised they lasted this long. He could be her father, she is so young. But she got good DNA for her kids!

She wasn’t scraping by working low paying jobs either! The kids aren’t ‘little’ & at any time she could’ve gone to set with him. Of course who really knows the circumstances, I would’ve found a place on location to live temporarily and gotten tutors for the kids but maybe the kids balked at that idea….😥

She really must not have loved him. She should have been willing to go where he was at any cost to save the marriage. He needs to keep working. At his age it will be harder to get gigs. He working on Horizons which he enjoys. They need much prayer. Pray for the Costners. 🙏
