you know i had put some thought to it before but never in such detail as just now, how incredibly painful and damaging this nekosis condition would actually be >teeth your original canines would be pushed out by a new dentin nub which would develop enamel outside of your gums (since they couldn't house teeth that large) which would be both painful and incredibly risky as you could easily just bite through your lips >ears you would loose all hearing as your ear canals collapsed and calcified (an incredibly painful process id imagine kinda like kidney stones but in your ears, and then ossify changing the structure of your skull, then your skull would break apart atop your head which could quite frankly kill you if you aren't kept in monitored condition and care, then another ear canal, cochlea etc forms and the flesh and cartilaginous tissue dissolve and deposit around the new ear openings forming your, as of now bald ears which would then grow a huge amount of dense fur, this whole process would probably require a huge amount of nourishment or your new parts might form wrong. (also if someone yells that's like an instant headache) >Eyes you would go temporarily blind as your optical suspensory ligaments force your eyes shut and your cornea completely changes shape, your retina is now also hyper sensitive and if your optic nerve changes to that of a cats you are now Yellow/Blue colourblind >Tail this one is really fucked, luckily mammalian tails don't grow like mammalian necks or your vertebrae would just get way longer which would absolutely devastate your ability to move normally, luckily instead your entire coccyx would break down into a bundle of nerve and stem cells which would become the base for a new probably about 10 or 12 vertebral processes all of which you would have to grow in an excruciating and long process (also your entire tail would be bald at first), and just like the ears if this goes wrong or you lack the nutrients to construct this tail that could lead to severe neurological disorders or your tail forming incorrectly, moreover this tail is now going to be so fucking annoying in every way imaginable, you cant even sit the way you used to because then you hurt it. >digestive your stomach acid is now stronger and probably requires a much thicker stomach lining which is going to suck because if you have indigestion ever it is going to BURN, furthermore your colonies of gut bacteria? yeah all of those are for a monogastric omnivore not a monogastric carnivore so you are gonna need to purge all of them and have new colonies injected into your bowls, you are also going to digest things quicker which will mean much higher frequencies of bowl movements, your body now has to get all of its energy from proteins and fats which will cause a huge amount of urea to be produced so your urine will reek to high hell, though i suppose if you would like to loose weight your metabolic processes are now dramatically faster (im currently trying to gain muscle myself and already have a freakish metabolism so this would kinda suck for me). also if your tongue becomes cattish then you now cant taste sweet things though its not like you can eat them anyhow :). and despite all of that there's still a decent chance i would infect myself because cat ears would go hard af

There's a lot of downsides to nekosis, but having cute ears and a tail would be cute, so do the pros really outweigh the cons? Probably but oh well uwu

I don’t have much sewing experience at all but the modification for a tail hole should be extremely easy especially with baggier pants cause you don’t actually need to cu a hole for those you can just cut the already sewn seam apart with a little sewing tool designed for that so it’s really just the patience of cutting each stich

Oof Feeling a little called out- I admit, I'd accept pain and having to make lifestyle changes for cat parts, I'm lonely and overlooked and I'd definitely want the attention ngl. Hardest part would be the clothes, altering clothes definitely isn't the easiest, as someone who has no clue on how to alter clothes. In fact, the only time I've tampered with clothing in any meaningful way, was the shirt i turned into a skirt by cutting right below the sleeves, cutting a bit off the bottom of that bit for a thread, and threading that through the wierd tubey bit at the bottom of the shirt to make a skirt that could be adjusted like basketball shorts cause i have 0 clue if how to sew. I did also buy a proper skirt but the one i made from a shirt is one of my most prised possessions-
