The reaction from Engelbert was interesting. In the middle of his show, this woman come to stage. A nightmare for many Singers, but he stayed cool and friendly. Respect Engelbert.

Engelbert is so kind to his fan members; that is just his nature if you watch all his videos; he is always so very loving to every one. Greatest singer in the world, yesterday, today and always.
Going back stage was and still is a highlight of my life. When he kissed me, I thought I was going to die! Like I told him, “Dreams really do come true”.
I had the pleasure of meeting him and Louise November 9th 2014 it was a night I will never forget. I have no day without his music. There is no one like him.
The first time I heard The last Waltz I was 15 years old and when he hit that high note I got a shiver down my spine and still do today. I'm a stagehand and had the opportunity to work on his show. I love everything in the entertainment industry and always go to work early. I was on stage by myself and he came in and walked past me. Apparently at 80+ years of age he just got back from a game of golf and he too came to work early. I didn't even think he noticed me but he turned around and walk back. He put his hand on my shoulder and asked me how I was doing. I couldn't believe a star of his stature would do this. This man truly loves life and shares it with the world. I have always loved Engelbert. He is the God of love songs. He has the golden voice. And he is soooooo good looking - sooooo sexy. In 1982 (I was 28), I went to see Eng perform at the Louisville Palace Theatre. I had a front row seat that was level with the stage. I was so close to him, I could almost reach out and touch. He gave an awesome performance and I so wish I had dropped him a note to give me a call. He had a lot of infedelties (just like Tom Jones, my other favorite). Why not, I was willing and still am.

Good for you Mary. I was living the dream through you as I watched this video. I know exactly how you feel. He makes your heart feel like it is going to burst out of your ribcage. I just saw him in Atlantic City in Feburary and was hoping to get close enough to have him use the red handkerchief I had brought but it was not to be. He was so wonderful and I felt like a teenager all over again. You are a beautiful lady and I am so happy for you that you did what you did. A memory that no one can erase. Be safe and bless you.
I think this might have been at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. In fact, looking at the carpet near the end is the same carpet that Foxwoods had on the floor. It was a GREAT Show. They are ALL GREAT and I think this might have been about the third time I went to see him.
